You need to punch in a 6-digit code to get up into the hostel area of the building, and then another 6-digit code to get into your room. Really annoying. Wifi only works in the lobby/bar area. Only 2 outlets in a 15-bed room, and only one of those outlets worked. Other than the bar in the building itself, really no bars/restaurants within a short walking distance of the hostel.

Flying Pig Downtown

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Really fun hostel to stay at. The bar and the smoking room are great perks. Each bed in my 12-bed room had their own light and outlet. Only gripe is that the wifi only works in the lobby.

Euro Youth Hostel

Munich, Germany

Awesome hostel. I stayed in a 12-bed room, each bed had a curtain for privacy, a light, a shelf and an outlet which was really nice. The bar in the hostel was probably the best part. Cheap beers, entertainment on the weekends, lots of cool people.

Isaacs Hostel

Dublin, Ireland

Good location. Wifi really only works in the lobby/basement. No lockers in the room, you have to go to the basement for them, and they cost something like 2-3 Euro/day. Staff at front desk was friendly/helpful.

Astor Museum Inn

London, England

Only a couple outlets in a 12-bed room. Wifi was decent and worked in my 2nd floor room.
