We arrived to a drunk staff, and were shown in to a room with no lockers or lock on the door. The bathroom is quite dirty and always wet, as there is no curtain. There is no indoor "common space", just the street space used as a bar. Staff was MIA in the morning until after 12pm when we checked out. We were also told by another person in our room that the day before someone had items stolen, and we noted that the entrance to the building was unlocked a few times when we wanted to go in/out.

This is a very good hostel for many reasons. But let me first detail some of the things that some may not like: 1. it is underground, almost no natural light 2. there are 4 bathrooms, and 2 are always wet inside 3. it can be a bit noisy, as the rooms don't block out all the sound. OK here is why the hostel is great: For 5 euro/ 7 USD, you get to stay in a place with a pretty good location, sleeping, tasty dinner. My girlfriend and I got our own room for the same price! Staff is great.

This place is big and nice, offering more than many hostel-goers usually get. It is a pension, though, so keep in mind a couple differences -- there is no open kitchen to cook in, and bringing in outside food/drink is not allowed (or possibly just frowned upon). There are more families staying here since it has quite a few private rooms, but since there's also a pool, they should be well entertained kids. The staff really went the extra way for people, which we saw and experienced.

The place was really enjoyable. The location can't be beat, but the dormitory 16 bed is really crammed, and there were NO LOCKERS! Some problems with the internet expressed by multiple people, but it seems one of the connections worked, the other was not working. All in all, we would come back. Good people, good place, good times
