Tangier Melting Pot Hostel

Tangier, Morocco

The hostel is pretty and the rooftop has a view of the Strait of Gibraltar! Dorm style rooms are basic and plain, ours had a bit of a weird smell. Nice location in the medina, walking distance from Casbah, beach, and other sites, but a bit hidden in the small streets- look up good directions or a map first! Nice, helpful staff.

Aline Hostel

Chefchaouen, Morocco

Beautiful little hostel with a lovely rooftop deck. Rooms were a bit small and a little stuffy. Nice bathrooms. Basic breakfast provided. Fantastic location in central Chefchaouen (though it's not very big anyway), 5 min walk to main square. Very nice staff.

Villa Oufella

Agadir, Morocco

Fantastic staff and absolutely beautiful rooms with large bathrooms. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Location is a bit far from Agadir, but the staff will arrange a taxi. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

Much nicer than I was expecting! I was in a 4 bed room, and it was bright and clean with plenty of room, comfy beds, and a very nice bathroom ensuite. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hostel was easy to find and close to the metro station.

Giovanni's Home

Naples, Italy

While it's a bit of a challenge wheeling a suitcase up the cobbled stone streets and several flights of steep stairs, it's well worth it for a stay at Giovanni's. The facilities themselves are fine- a lot of slightly bumpy beds to a room, decent bathrooms & common area, but Giovanni and the atmosphere are fantastic! Giovanni is a great host- incredibly helpful & kind, and he truly loves Napoli. The hostel draws a great, friendly crowd- plan on having a group dinner in by Giovanni!
