I wish I could have stayed longer, we were in a 9bed dorm and it was so comfortable and relaxing. The whole place was wonderful, the bathroom was great, small but didn't have to wait at all. Location was perfect and the Bavarian bar suggested was so good. The beds were comfy and personal lights are always a bonus, it was a little hot at night but nothing to be too concerned about. Host was lovely and friendly.

Pretty good atmosphere for a big hostel, rooms are large and spacey and have a sink; but I don't think three chairs are necessary in a 6bed dorm.bathrooms are great and clean with no problems. The front desk is pretty busy so be prepared to wait a bit. Book the sound of music tour through them as it is amazing. Overall would reccommend.

Funk Lounge

Zagreb, Croatia
83%

This hostel is pretty cool, free shots on arrival and cheap funk restaurant downstairs. They have a very relaxed manner and you don't need to pay till the last day if you would like. They showed the best places to go in the town and the staff were very welcoming and kind. The only few negatives is that it is about 4km from the city centre and 3km from train.. And for two days the kitchen was pretty messy which stopped us from cooking. But the rooms are great and ensuites clean

When we arrived we were welcomed so nicely with a fresh juice, we were also upgraded as no one had booked the room with an ensuite. The kitchens are outside on the balcony so you can cook dinner while watching the sunset, and the boats coming in and see split on clear days. Plenty of facilities and space to do your own thing. The hostel is on a hill so it is a bit of a walk to the town but beautiful anyway. Laundry is cheap too. Text/call and they will pick you up fom the port:) great stay.

This hostel is in a great location, and has really good promise. The boys were great and helpful and the rooms were good sized, I just think a few things let it down, but can easily be fixed. The toilets/bathrooms were cleaned rarely whilst we were there for three days, and up stairs was really messy including the kitchen which lead to us just going out for dinner instead of chilling upstairs and cooking dinner. It was hard to socialise if you don't drink, but if you drink lots, you'll be fine

This place is absolutely perfect. The apartment is so clean and tidy and the kitchen has everything you need. Ivan is a great host making sure you have everything to help make sure your stay is great. I was sick for three days so it was a relief to have a nice private place with plenty of room and aircon. You are close to everything; beach, old city etc. everything is so relaxed which makes you relaxed. would highly recommend this place.

The name says it. This place is absolutely divine. The staff are amazing and welcoming and make surprises each night for you. The balcony has a 5star hotel view. Everything is clean and fresh. There are two showers and two toilets on each floor. Location is 5min walk to the beach and a 10bus or 40min walk to the old town. 100metres from the supermarket. I would not think twice about booking here again. You will make friends so easily because everyone is so relaxed and happy. Surprise!

This place is a breath of fresh air. Everything is modern and clean. Staff are so kind and helpful and know everything about sarajevo. We organised two tours with them and they were spot on. They have two kitchens one on each floor, and two bathrooms on each floor also. The kitchen was fully equipped and breaky was simple but good enough to fill your tummy. We stayed in a private and it was clean and spacious. Definitely recommend this place no hesitation. Location was perfect.

This is definitely not like your usual hostel, it is very small with only a 6bed and another big dorm. But what you will get out of the hostel is some really cool memories. Nicola was so friendly and crazy and always made you feel at home, and it was so easy to make friends. The rooms were spacious with your own lockers and everything was clean. There is only one toilet with the shower so you may have to wait a bit. Location perfect also.

Adagio Hostel 1.0 Oktogon

When entering this hostel you see the kitchen, a couch and reception and a lot of people checking in. The layout for the hostel is not ideal, and everything seemed to be in chaos when we got there, dishes all over the place. Our room was a fair size with big windows for ventilation however, my pillow was wet and when I asked to exchange it the receptionist thought It was my fault and gave me the only pillow available which was a cushion from the couch. Location great, and lounge room nice too.

This hostel has all the right things but the atmosphere is very sterile and dark. Many families staying here and really hard to meet people. The rooms were big but the beds squeaky and old. We booked a month ahead and when we looked at rates a few days before the same room has significantly decreased in price, which was the first bad start. Then when we went to make our beds we were given sheets that were half the size of the bed, did exchange. The staff did not want to help with tours either.

This is a great place to stay. Clean friendly and spacey for a one floor apartment. Kitchen is big and bathrooms are nice. You are not in the centre of the city centre but you are only 10minute walk with plenty of things to see along the way. The only thing we were a bit sceptic on was that they do not use keys for any of the dorm rooms or in entering the hostel, but it was great not to have a key and you forgot About it after a while. Aircon was great during the night.

U inn Berlin Hostel

This hostel is a bit out of the city centre but the peace and culture you get from being out of the tourist area is worth it. And it is only a quick step to the metro to take you to alexandra place. The place is big and spacious and is very comfortable. Separate showers and toilets for males and females and the kitchen has everything.. May just need to update a few pots and knives as they seem broken. The directions to get here are a bit flawed if you can't see the tv tower.

Sleep in Heaven

At first I wasn't impressed, our room was tiny and you could hardly move but mainly because the beds are so high (bunk x 3) with no railing and a makeshift ladder it was lucky I could swap with my partner and have the middle bunk. But the lockers are great although loud and everything outside the dorms are up to date and really nice. The happy hour is really good also bringing a great atmosphere to the lounge/dining area. Showers and toilets are fine just choose right time to go.

Snuffel Backpacker Hostel

Bruges, Belgium

Overall, I think the hostel needs to pick up in a few areas. The rooms are pretty average and the facilities are pretty bad. You can hardly step into the toilet cubicle and the walk through the bar to the backyard and up to the showers is not worth the effort when you can't choose the temp and it only goes for 30seconds. We had to walk through a 8bed dorm to get to our 4bed dorm which was a pity. The cheap drinks and location were the only good thing.

One of the best hostels we have stayed at. Everything was so organised and clean, the staff were so friendly and helped with tours. The top patio was amazing and could relax quite easily there for the entire night under the stars. The kitchen is a little small to cook and make sure you get there early for breaky, as we got there twice and they had run out of most things. The rooms were spacious and they had thought of everything with lockers, lights and sockets. Highly recommend.

This place is pretty damm good. Breaky in the morning is great especially with eggs cooked for you every morning, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are light and airy. We got a small room which was a little cramped due to luggage not fitting in lockers but besides that very comfortable. Location is superb. And the wine and pub crawl nights are friendly and relaxed which makes meeting people so easy. Only downside is... Must like stairs as it is on the fourth floor.

This is one place I'm going to come back to. It is more like a bed and breakfast but without the breakfast. Location is just on the outskirts of the centre but with a supermarket and restaurants 1min away, and the beach only 500metres away. You have your own microwave, dining table and fridge in your room which was very handy. They also cleaned your room everyday and gave you fresh towels everyday which was superb. I wish I could have stayed for another week. They also have a jacuzzi on the roof

Such a beautiful and friendly place to stay. Location right next to the shops and the facilities are great. Breakfast in the morning is good with a cook to make you crepes. Gym facility that is free makes it a really luxurious hostel also. Very good value for money, free Internet/computers if needed. Drinks in a fridge downstairs if needed and plenty of posters around for free walks, flamenco dancing etc. Would definitely come back here again.

We had a great time here! The staff was so friendly and showed us everything we needed to know so we didn't miss out on anything and also warned us about the Alhambra ticket shortage. The breaky was simple but had a great vibe. Our air con didn't work in our room but we were offered another room which was great. The only negative thing was, there are only two toilets in the building both connected to the showers. And for me meant I was waiting 40minutes just to go to the toilet.

If you like heat then you'll like this hostel as there is no air con or fans which Made sleeping pretty hard. The bathrooms weren't very clean but they were good enough. Location was good but is a fair way from beach and you have to take two metro trains. The staff were nice but on one day you could hear an argument between staff and owner for a good few hours. The outdoor terrace was full of smoke and for asthmatics was not really pleasant. But for it being so cheap, what do you expect.

Mini supermarket under the apartment also for anything. A two minute walk to metro as well. Would reccommend this place, especially if your not into the touristy party scene.

Although the place is hard to find, the hostel is pretty cool and very relaxed. Parking is cheap and about a 5min walk away. Our six bed room was so spacious and clean with a sink being extra helpful. There is a bit of noise at night but that is because you are on the Main Street, however if your a room facing away I doubt there would be much noise. Breakfast in the morning would be extra bonus. Kitchen is also good size.

The hostel overall, was pretty good. I think the breakfast should be free as it wasn't anything special. The only main negative which really put a dampener on our visit there was there was no parking! That was free anyway. You have to park 5-10min walk down hill in a parking lot costing 8euro a day. After 6:30 it is free in front of the hostel but before that you have to pay costing 2euro every two hours, and go back and change it. Def should have that in their profile.

The hostel was pretty good. We had am unfortunate event where the receptionist told us no need to book and when we got there we did In fact need to book which was a bit of a let down. Wifi only works on bottom floor even if you pay for it. And had to go down one floor to have a shower or toilet cause the boys were on our floor. However awesome facilities with pool table and dartboard as well as large kitchen. Free toast all day was a nice touch also. Good breakfast.

Hello there. Thank you for staying at Hatters. With regards to the internet that wouldn't be right. If you do pay for it, we normally hand you in a card with a serial number and a PIN code. That is part of our Global Gossip internet that you will be able to use all over the Hostel. We are sorry to hear about the unfortunate event, I am sure the receptionist did say that in good faith. Hope to see you again in Hatters. :))

The hostel seems to be half completed. We were in a room that had roof bits missing, raw wires coming out the wall and rain damage was all over. Our room was connected to the bowling lanes office by a glass door so we heard loud and long conversations past 1am when they were counting money. The toilet facilities were a fair way away due to some closer being out of order, it also took me three showers to find hot water. Besides the above, location was pretty good and security was reasonable.

In the shower on the first floor there were mushrooms growing from the wall. Obviously the cubicle had not been cleaned for a long time otherwise a staff member would have noticed it. Hairs all over bathroom, and locks not working in some of the toilet cubicles. We were put in a 15bed dorm when we had booked a 12 bed, however they did give us some of our money back as if we had paid for a 15bed dorm. There were no lockers in the room and no space to put your bags so rooms were cluttered also.
