Rooms are cool; common area is very comfy. Awesome photographs on the walls. Lots of plants everywhere! Roof garden is nice. Pandas and Sichuan opera tours were great. It's nice that they don't push the tours. Location is good; easy to get around the city by subway. Food is cheap, but takes forever and a day to arrive. Hardest bed EVER (and I've been living and traveling in China for 9 months!)

Helpful, friendly staff and good location...less than 10 minute walk to Khao San Road. It is nice to be near the madness but not right in it. Quiet location is a plus. Beds are very hard. Rooftop patio offers nice city views. Breakfast in the morning was top notch!

There were cockroaches in our room. The lock boxes under the beds did not lock. The staff turns the A/C off at 11 am every day. Lots of cutting corners. Wifi cuts out frequently. They don't treat people all that great. The place looks really cool. Great places to hangout. Breakfast included was good. We left after one night and would not stay there again. We found a hotel nearby with nice, clean, private rooms for less than the cost of paying for a dorm room here.

A cheap place to stay right in the middle of it all. There are many conveniences like street food, bars and restaurants right out the door. But you get what you pay for. The room was nothing special. Water constantly dripped from the ceiling above the toilet. You have to leave your shoes at the front door. One of the employees sleeps on the couch in the lobby every night to let people back in. There is not much of a place to hang out and meet other travelers. Staff was helpful.

Wada is my favorite hostel of all time! The atmosphere is great. The staff are super helpful and extremely friendly. The coffee and breakfast are delicious and well-priced. The homemade dumplings are great as well. Our group originally wanted to stay in Yangshuo for one night, but we just did not want to leave Wada. We all had a great time! The hiking trip through the rice terraces was magnificent; it was so nice to not be on a super-touristy trip through that most special place.
