Hands down, this is the nicest, cleanest, coolest looking hostel I have *ever* stayed in! The ground floor is a bar/lounge, a cool place you might hang out at even if it wasn't a hostel. The dorms are extremely clean & modern, with super comfortable bunks! Each bunk bed has a privacy shade you can draw down when you want to sleep... we all know how valuable this is! Also power plugs at each bunk on the wall. The bathrooms are like walking into Burke Williams Spa! Simply amazing.

Anny Studios - Perissa Beach

The best part about this hostel is the location - it's directly behind the beach front rows of restaurants & hotels, right on the strip where you want to be. WiFi could be a lot faster. Bed was comfortable, e A/C worked well. There was no hot water, no matter the time of day. Shower was so incredibly tiny: You could only face one way because it was narrower than shoulder-width (and I'm a 5'2 female!). However, I did hear that other rooms had more reasonably sized showers.

Cheers Lighthouse

A nice hostel in a good location in the "Old City" or historical area of Istanbul, Sultanhamet. I would stay either here, because it's 5-10 min walking to the central square where everything on that side is, or across the bridge in the newer, trendier area. But this one is very well located near the main stuff to see, and yet is on a nice quiet street in a neighborhood.

Days Inn UC Davis

This is a corporate chain hotel, not a hostel, but it can have competitive pricing so I can see why it's on the site. If you just need a cheap place to stay, this is perfect. Just don't expect a hostel atmosphere where you can socialize and learn about local things to do, since it has a hotel setup ,not a hostel one.
