Nice hostel in a good location. Adequate dorm rooms with big lockers and bed lights. Good bathroom facilities, though cleaned at odd hours. Kitchen facilities small and crowded, especially during breakfast times. Breakfast ok. Staff all polite and friendly. Has laundry facilities. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Hostel was adequate. Rooms clean. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Breakfast terrible. Good wifi. Library, not a book swap - silly idea when a lot of people only stay one night - read 20 pages then have to give back the book. Staff were very polite and helpful. Pretty good location. Six bed dorm only had four lockers. Overall, would recommend.

A very good hostel. Had a four bed dorm to ourselves for the whole four nights we were there. Breakfast was very good - orange jam is the best jam ever! Good location, friendly staff, nice big kitchen. All rooms have large lockers to fit full sized back packs. Would highly recommend.

Pros: breakfast, really nice staff on the front desk, good location, big dorm rooms Cons: can be loud at night, ensuite bathrooms not always the cleanest, no pots or pans in kitchen- have to go down to reception to get them, and leave your room key as a 'deposit' so they know you have them. Overall - would recommend.

Pros: great location, great overall hostel- rooms had big lockers and their own toilets, showers were good, nice sitting area. Cons: for the expensive price, breakfast should be included, the Internet password changes every day- so annoying.

Pros: great location. Clean facilities. Wifi. Cons: most of the hot plates don't work in the kitchen, staff switch on lights at 8am in the dorm rooms and switch them off at 11pm - too bad if you want to sleep any earlier or any later. Overall, don't know why this hostel doesn't have better ratings. It's actually a nice hostel. Don't let the 40 bed dorm put you off - everyone was quiet and respectful towards each other, the dorm was clean, and the beds comfy enough, with big lockers.

Pros: hostel is in a very good location, the beds are very comfortable, the showers were good, staff did your washing for you. Cons: dorms were very overcrowded, kitchen was an absolute mess - wouldn't have wanted to cook anything in it, absolutely no lockers, extremely loud all the time - like nightclub loud.

So you were looking for a quiet, sterile, lifeless place to stay. Sorry dude you came to the wrong place for that, (hence the massive warning on our hostelworld page) people actually stay here and comm-un-i-cate to each other not sit on their computers all day (and night) watching Dexter. Good luck with the trip mate, Jeff

Hostel Buffalo Niagara

Pros: clean and comfortable, good kitchen facilities, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, good laundry facilities Cons: This hostel is fine, but unless you are staying here to go to Niagara Falls, there isn't much else to do in Buffalo, and it's not the safest of places to visit.

Nice, friendly hostel. Good location if you don't mind walking, which we didn't. Facilities are clean, and dorm rooms were good, though a little hot at night. Good size lockers to store your valuables in. Shoes off policy is a bit silly seeing as the staff wear shoes inside, and the floor isn't actually that clean. Be prepared for the stuffy shoe smell when you walk in the door. Kitchen area a little on the small side, but still adequate. Overall, would definitely recommend this hostel.
