Funny Palace Hostel, Rome, Italy
10.0
25th May 2013

The rooms are really nice well laid out and very secure. It is a little weird to check in at the laundromat but once you accept that fact the stay is great. Take them up on their discounted offers of where to get food near the hostel. It was excellent!!! The staff are very friendly and give you a great briefing of how to get around Rome and see all the major attractions and maximize your stay! Also its really nice to be able to get your laundry done at store well your out exploring Rome

Clifford is a lot of fun to hang out with in the evenings. Take the time when you check into listen carefully to Jonathan's excellent description of the best things to do in Florence. He knows the best places to get great food and experience the culture. The staff is extremely friendly, ammenities are great and the location just a 10 Minute walk from the major attractions is perfect!

Ostello Bello, Milan, Italy
10.0
22nd May 2013

The hostel is the place to stay in Milan. All the locals have heard of it and some even come over to enjoy the happy hour. It is extremely clean and well kept with great amenities. Everything is clean. The staff know the city of Milan very well and give great advice of good places to eat. I cannot thank the staff enough, I was close to missing my train they ran out on the street flagged a cab told the driver of the situation and ensured he would get me to station on time. It was terrific thanks!

A Venice Fish, Venice, Italy
9.1
21st May 2013

The location is great just on the other side of the Realto and a close enough walk to the train station that it is easy to get to. The area the hostel is situated in is also less expensive then other areas which is a huge bonus. One drawback is there are only 2 bathrooms and they can get quite busy in the morning A second drawback is it smells a little funky most likely as a result of the canal. The staff are really friendly and funny and know of a lot of great places in Venice to save money!

Maverick Hostel & Ensuites, Budapest, Hungary

The hostel itself was very nice the only issue with the hostel was the construction in front made it difficult to find on the first time. I would recommend improving the directions. Saying to cross the street underground from the #7 bus stop and then it will be behind the green iron gate.

Hostel Santini Prague, Prague, Czech Republic

14th May 2013

The hostel is phenomenal. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable the facilities are top notch and very well taken care of. The location is perfect being only a 3 minute walk to Charles Bridge and 10 minutes to the town square. The value for money could not be any better. Only draw back is the minimal offerings for breakfast.

Flying Pig Uptown, Amsterdam, Netherlands
10.0
7th May 2013

The flying pig is a great hostel in Amsterdam. Every major attraction is within easy walking distance especially the Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank Museum. The staff are very friendly and out going and the downstairs bar and restaurant always has someone in it to hangout with and chat. Great place to stay.

Brussels Hello Hostel, Brussels, Belgium
8.3
6th May 2013

the hostel is a fair walk away from the Grand Place and there are not a lot of other establishments around it. However the metro is very quick in Brussels and you can get to the Grand Place quickly. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast in the morning is very good. It is also very nice to have WIFI in all of the rooms.

Smart Place Gare du Nord, Paris, France

4th May 2013

The rooms are a little tight but it is Paris so you cannot complain. The ensuite washroom is terrific and very convenient. The balcony on the front of my room was very nice. The lack of a breakfast option is a bit disappointing but with so many local cafe's its not to bad. The staff have an excellent knowledge of Paris and their English is excellent.
