This place is super nice, colorful, and in a great location. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, it's a 5 minute walk to the marina and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff are nice and helpful with maps and suggestions, and the rooms are simple and clean, with good AC. There's an awesome rooftop area with a small pool, lounge chairs, and a hammock. I would definitely stay here again!

The hostel is located literally 10 steps from the ocean, in a gorgeous house with awesome wall paintings/decor. Really amazing staff; it feels like you're hanging out with old friends. Everyone goes surfing together and out for meals and acai all the time - I wasn't lonely for a second even though I'm traveling on my own. A 15 minute walk from the center of town, or a quick bike ride on one of the hostel bikes (or someone is likely driving there quite often). Store/bakery around the corner.
This place will make you love Sao Paulo. Great location (2 min walk to the metro), the coolest staff ever, and the only hostel I know of in SP with a swimming pool, and fun pool parties every weekend! Good breakfast, comfortable common area, and two guest computers. This is the only place I ever stay in Sao Paulo, and I'm really sad to be leaving.
Amazing place with the best owner ever!! Just around the corner from a main shopping/bar/restaurant street. Cool common area, really good for meeting people. Great breakfast with tons of fruit, pastries, and freshly made juice every morning. Spacious rooms. Good computer for guests to use. One of my favorite hostels in Brazil!
Good location three blocks from the beach and metro. But: the 'bar' is a fridge of drinks at reception, the 'kitchen' is locked at 10pm and only fits about 3 people, and the 'pool' is tiny. The staff are incompetent (one told me I had to pay the full price because 'that 10% is a hostelworld thing,' and another told me hostelworld credits back that deposit)... and they have an exchange rate of 2.6 reals/$ instead of 2.4 and only accept cash, so you pay more than what the hostelworld price shows.
A very large hostel, but fairly well organized with lots of activities you can book with the staff. Nice bar with great breakfast and a free caipirinha every night! The beach and shops are each a 5-10 minute walk down the hill (in opposite directions), and the lagoon is close as well. Swimming pool has an incredible view.
Really good location, awesome staff, and a great town in general! Good atmosphere and a comfortable common area where everyone hangs out. Very spacious rooms and lots of bathrooms.
Really good location in the middle of everything - bars, restaurants, cathedral, main street. Awesome staff who make homemade bread for breakfast every day. Cool decor.
Really good location by the cathedral and tram line, and tons of bars and restaurants nearby. Super friendly staff and lots of fun activities like group paella dinners on the rooftop (which has a great view of the orange tree-lined street). I would definitely stay here again.
Conveniently located across from the bus station. Bad wifi (as in most of Prague). Good breakfast.
Excellent location, directly across from the Dead Sea. Clean rooms with huge balconies and amazing views. Best breakfast I've ever had at a hostel/guest house.
Really great location and awesome staff who make you feel at home. Cool people from all over the world and an awesome atmosphere to hang out all day, lounge in the hammocks, and wander over to the beach or the dozens of nearby restaurants. I've already been back once and will probably be back again soon!
