Hostel Brikette

Positano, Italy
100%

Totally brilliant place to relax or even party with some great people. I went down to Positano to escape the crowds of Rome, thinking I would be on for a wholly relaxing time by the sea. You can relax if you want, but the atmosphere at this hostel is so great that you are immediately drawn to the terrace common area to hang out, meet people and have a few/many drinks. The breakfast is good for €5, pizza across the road is amazing and cheap, convenience/fruit store nearby is also handy!

Great hostel. Super close to the metro. Short walk to centre storico. Safe area. Good kitchen if you are a budget conscious traveller that needs to cook for themselves. However, in Naples, it is probably cheaper to eat pizza than cook yourself.

Wombats City Hostel Berlin

Berlin, Germany

Nice hostel, clean, big communal kitchen area, nice bar and terrace area upstairs that's very social, and a great area of Berlin that is close to some great bars, cafes and shopping. Unfortunately this place is huge and seems to host every contiki or top deck tour that comes to Berlin. So unless you don't mind a large amount of kids running around screaming then I would maybe check out something different.

Huge hostel, kept very clean. People are friendly. If you just want a comfortable(ish) bed, clean room, clean showers and secure feeling then go for it.

We had a great stay here. Michel was so friendly and took us on a bike tour of bordeax which was great. He also helped us organise a trip to the wine region, st emilion, which was a fantastic day trip. Breakfast provided was simple and great. Clean facilities and all around a great place to stay in bordeaux. Recommended for sure.
