Loved the common area and was really great to meet people. Showers were only warm 9.30-9 which was hard as many start earlier or finish later. Girls bathroom was always messy or out of paper. Finally the night guard was very rude about the 'quiet at 12" which means silence. The guy running it is really nice but didn't accept my feedback for the night guard well. Closeish to town and bus station, just a hot walk. Sad because I always give reviews and this is the first negative one in south Americ

It has everything a backpacker needs! Girls only bathroom was great, the staff were so helpful, so close to town and really easy to meet people. Not huge parties as people tend to leave early, come on overnight buses or have early tours because that's this town but still fun! highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, amazing and helpful staff at both the desk and bar. When we were there the parties were not massive but I think that was more of the people. Loved the pool and food!

Albero was lovely however no hot water, no toilet paper, and lockers that didn't work. Nice location however!

Staff lovely! Location one of the best in banos for activities and going out. The kitchen is shared with the restaurant which is annoying but the staff are so lovely! Also guys at the front desk are so helpful!

This is an awesome place to meet people on the weekends particularly as a single traveller. Security however is pretty appalling. I had mates have stuff taken and when I checked in I was never given a wristband. This happened at the last el viajero in cartagena but here I didn't correct the mistake and I could walk in and out without a band too easily, particularly when the rooms are not locked and they also had a concert at the hostel where anyone could come in.

loved Diego who worked behind the desk. cool as place with a great viva for meeting people. Santa Marta is not that exciting but you can go to minca, polomino or tyrona super easily from here so it's a good base and place for a couple of nights

really liked this place but there were not enough working lockers for everyone in our room, no keys, , the staff were a little unfriendly and the excussions were cheaper when we booked externally. however great atmosphere for the single traveller to meet people and fun place and awesome location with heaps of things nearby

Actually loved it being near the train station rather than old town as so much easier with the backpack. Love the lounge and kitchen and the staff were super nice, even after 20h shifts! Rooms nice and big and big lockers. Couldn't ask for more!

Average hostel but the cheapest around. It sucks that people will only stay a night or 2 at most hut that's Zurich! Small hot rooms, and the bar downstairs comes before hostel guests. Otherwise clean and comfortable and a good 15 min walk to anywhere that's not the going out street.

I have been to hostels all over Europe and Asia and never have I had staff who were more friendly and helpful than at little bird 2! They so amazing and so helpful even after we had checked out! Otherwise the hostel is great to get to know people. Only draw back is super creaky beds but everything else from location to the rooftop was fantastic. Wish I was coming back soon!

The vibe here is awesome, staff go out of their way to help (escorted to the taxi, which they also organised, at 4am proves that) mint tea whenever and a 2 min walk to the main square. Only downsideis the beds are not very ccomfortable but the rest seriously makes up for it.

Really homey feel. It was great to get out of the commercial feeling hostels and actually feel at home. Great supermarkets around. Close to the metro but not the city centre. Didnt bother me though. The guy who runs it was helpful in showing the sites, a little quirky but friendly

The 20 bed room is pretty easy to get into but you get a locker so not fussed. Missing a common room to meet people if you are a single traveller. Staff were great, location is good, I walked everywhere easily. Wifi everywhere too which is nice. Good value for money of tou are on a budget

This has been by far my favourite hostel! Wifi on every floor, amazing location next to a supermarket, near thr main street, train station and a 15 min walk to the beach! Free champagne night and €2 spag night make for a great atmosphere especially when travelling by yourself. Staff amazing and willing to show you anything and give advice. Was so happy with my stay and wished I had stayed longer

I was looking for the cheapest place last minute and got here. Very pricey... bad location but I feel like thats everywhere in paris (spent about €5 a day on metro) . Rooms r awesome, spacious, place to lock things and curtains for the beds to get privacy. Luggage room costs heaps but you are allowed to keep stuff on the floor if you are backpacking and don't actually have anything worth stealing

Stayed in a 40 dorm tucked down in the basement. Showers and toilets in another dorm and no shower curtains on the showers so its very public. Security is good if you lock your things away but 3 phones were stolen in the common area on one night so keep an eye on it. Awesome location and good atmosphere for single travellers. Despite my rating I would not go back, I would head to wombats or euro youth next door for the same good points but minus jagers bad ones.

Pretty happy. Short walk to the station and town, comfy beds, wifi actually reached my room as it was above reception and the bar was a cool place, everyone was social which is important if you're travelling by yourself. Awesome as bar tender!! Only downside was check in was at 12 and everyone was waiting so took me till 12.30 to get in.

hi there. thanks for the feedback. great example how busy salzburg is. save travells :)

Clean and close-ish to the main station so you can need to use the train system but the staff were awesome, ready to give advice and help me get into my room (the keys were hard to use). Maybe it was just when I was there but I found it hard to meet people here whereas every other hostel I never have a problem.

The staff are amazing here and really make the place. Awesome atmosphere and as a traveller by myself I had no problem making friends with everyone. Walking distance from pretty much everything but an easy tram or bus to things further (train station only 3 stops and a 2 min walk). Try make your stay on a sat night for the infamous spa party.
