Everyone was friendly, staff was helpful, convenient location. Living room, dining, and kitchen were great but kind of small for all the people. Free wifi and breakfast, would stay again.

Great common areas with a kitchen, dining area, lounge, and free computers (but software needs to be updated!). Super friendly staff and luggage storage. Mattresses old and saggy, only three showers and toilets for four floors?! Hope the renovations going on fix that ASAP.

Another guesthouse like many others. They do clean your room every day and some of the staff was nice, but the "free puck-up" fell through.

The owner and his staff were fantastic and the included breakfast appreciated!

Pros: Large common areas with fast wifi, helpful staff. Cons: BEDBUGS. Don't stay here now, it's not worth it!!! Wouldn't refund my money so I switched rooms, but that one had bugs too. STAY AWAY!

Siam Journey is a great hostel. Friendly staff, easy to meet and go out with other travellers, the best showers in Thailand, comfortable beds and centrally located. Definitely recommended!

Great facilities (hangout area, kitchen, pool, TV with movies, lots of bathrooms). Not far from the beach and super friendly staff. Definitely stay here if you want to meet other travelers.

A great respite from hostels, especially for the price. Beautiful pool and garden area, staff was always cleaning. Room was comfortable enough but plain. Shower hose was broken so most of the water spilled on the ground. Takes 20-30 mins walk through shops to the beach, but hotel area is nice, quiet, and safe.

Great experience overall. Super helpful and friendly staff, 2 public lounges, tight security, decent breakfast. Only drawbacks were no wifi in rooms and it was sometimes unreliable, and inconvient for couples in separate gender dorms because you couldn't access their floor so there was no way to communicate without a cell phone. A 10 minute walk to Malioboro St.

PROS: - Location. Close to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, great views of both and the Bosphorous. - Breakfast included. Simple but satisfying. CONS: - Toilets. There was ONE on the 4th floor for 30+ people. Door didn't latch or lock, light didn't work, couldn't stand upright. - Security. No locks on any doors, anyone from the street could waltz in if they cared to. No lockers. - Staff. Two people were nice, but the owner rudely scolded us for exploring the facilities. - Cramped dorm

Great location, friendly staff, clean and safe. Not much character, but a DIY breakfast of eggs, toast, juice and coffee was set out in the kitchen and that was super nice!
