Central Backpackers

Oxford, England

I loved this hostel!! What a friendly, warm and lovely place full of interesting people from all over the world. The staff were amazing and great fun to be around. The hostel was super clean and it felt like a home away from home! I will definitely be back!

Hoa Binh Hotel

Hoi An, Vietnam

The hostel was not too bad. Nice breakfast included, no bugs in the room; always a bonus. The staff were a little pushy with tours/transport. If you need to go to Danang it's cheaper to just wander down to Go Travel and book a shuttle for a few dollars.

Stars Hotel

Hanoi, Vietnam

The hostel was in a good location down a quiet street (compared to some in Hanoi). The staff were really friendly and helped us sort out a train ticket that we messed up. The free breakfast was simple but tasty and the room was nice and clean.

Ah Shan Hostel Hong Kong

Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The hostel is in a great location next to the MTR but that is the best positive. If you like your room windowless with some little ant friends and showering on the toilet this is the place for you! Still, in a place like HK you will barely spend any time in your room which makes it an okay base for exploring!

Nerpa Backpackers

Irkutsk, Russia

Nerpa's was in a good location as it's just up the road from the train station. The staff were really lovely and welcoming, it was a nice homely little place. Rooms were basic but they did the job!

Auberge Th√©√Ętrale

Irkutsk, Russia

Okay so we didn't end up staying there. We planned too but couldn't make sense of the minimal directions and couldn't find a way to get there on the net, so we ended up staying in a location we knew. But, the other reviews seem positive so I am sure it could have been a great stay if more information was provided on how to get there!

Goat Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

This hostel was so nice! Our favourite of the trip so far. Each time we go to a new place we wish it was like Goat and are always disappointed! This is how you imagine hostels to be before you go away. It's not one of those big churned out ones that has no atmosphere and the staff don't know how to smile. After a few days at Goat it felt like a home away from home! It is really small and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. There is a nice free breakfast and the staff make you coffee!

Do Step Inn

Vienna, Austria

It's quite a walk from the sights! But it was a nice room, very clean and the staff were helpful. There is a big kitchen and it's super close to the train station. There is also a little room with pool table and stuff which was nice.

The hostel was quite far out. Okay not too far, but far enough. The staff were moody and not the most helpful... (don't you know first impressions count?!) It was clean though!
