Stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm. I's an old abby. Something else, the rooms (little boxes) are colourful installed in this church and beautiful. But: the corridor was dirty and wet. The lockers too small for your baggage. The showers and toilets dirty and wet, they really need a renovation. You've to walk ab to 30 min to get into the city of Edinburgh. Free WiFi. It is prohibited to bring alkohol in the building, because they've their own bar.Hit my head when I was sleeping in the lower bed.

Stayed in a 3 bed room. Very clean with TV and washbasin in the room. Strange toilets (never seen something like this before). Free WiFi, a place where you can make your own breakfast in the morning. But you can hear everything what's happening on the corridor outside. In the middle of nowhere, if you don't have a car.

Styed in a 14 bed mixed dorm. When you step inside, you'll see a lot of rock poster on the wall. There were showers in the room, very beautiful room with frescoes and stucco ceiling. Free WiFi and free breakfast. The view from the window over Edinburgh was beautiful. 24h receiption. Across from the dungeon in the middle of the town.

You have to walk up to 30 min to get into the city. It was hard to find, because to location at google maps was wrong. Had a basic twin room. The walls seemed freshly painted, but it was badly done. The door was hard to close. The windows were dirty, also the shower and toilets. No soap at the toilets. Can't locked the toilet door. The mirror askew and dirty. No WiFi, no breakfast, no coffee or tea. Thought, it was a hotel. Wasn't able to turn of the heater in the room (summer, over 20°C outside

Stayed in a 14 bed mixed dorm. I felt the springs in my bed. This hostel seems to be a very old house, with all the paintings an the walls and it has a very old charakter. Not bad! showers and toilets are installed in the room, small platic container, you don't have much space in there. There are also two toilets and a shower in the second floor. As small as the other one. 24h receiption is alsways there to help you. Free WiFi and free breakfast. In the middle of the city.
