MEININGER Salzburg City Center

Very comfortable hostel, although it has more of a hotel feel to it. Kitchen facilities were decent as well. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk into central Salzburg.

A nice hostel, quite close to the Westbahnhoff so it's very easy to reach central Vienna.

An ok hostel, quite near the main square. The breakfast isn't all that and it can be quite noisy in the mornings.

An excellent party hostel, the bar crawl is well worth the money. The hostel is a short walk into the city centre and is fairly easy to find. The only downside to it being a party hostel was that trying to get an early night is impossible.

Kangaroo-Stop

Dresden, Germany

The hostel is a short walk from Dresden Neustadt station, and is very close to the bars and restaurants in the outer neustadt, which is a great area to hang out. It's also a quick walk to the beautiful Altstadt. The only negative I have, was that my room was robbed whilst I was there. Luckily I didn't lose anything, but a girl lost her laptop and a few other possesions.

Wombats City Hostel Berlin

Berlin, Germany

A great hostel, the bar on the roof was amazing and gives a wonderful view of the city, plus the two happy hours are excellent value for money. My only complaint was that my room was really hot in the morning if the windows were shut, but with the windows open all the noise of the traffic came in and woke me up at about 8 every morning, which isn't great if you're enjoying Berlin's night life.

A decent hostel, very near all the great places to go out in Hamburg, such as the Reeperbahn and the Sternschanze area.

Kitchen facilities are good. The bar area is small and you're better off going out for drinks.

I loved the location, right on the river, plus it was only a short walk to the main sights. The staff were very friendly, helping my translate a postcard that was written in Dutch.

A short walk will take you to the centre of the city, which you will want to do as there isn't much atmosphere

A bit of a walk from the centre, but not too far. The bar area isn't great and you're better off going to the city centre for drinks

One of my favourite hostels. It's only a short walk to the centre of the city but you will find yourself in the bar most of the evening as I found it a great place to meet fellow travellers. I would recommend the beer tasting on Thursdays, it was well worth the money.

If you're looking for a quiet hostel, then this is for you. If you're looking to meet loads of people at the bar, then head elsewhere.

A new chef has just started working there and the food is excellent. Although the hostel is a bit outside the city centre, it's really near the beach so when the weather is better I can't imagine a better place to stay in Den Haag.
