We booked a private double ensuite and arrived in the middle of the night, using the pick up service from the airport. The driver has been waiting for us right away, brought us to the hostel and Greg, the night manager, was very nice and even gave us an uograde to a private flat (which was not a private flat but something like a palace!). So my review is based on the experiences in that flat, not in the hostel itself.

Staff was friendly, breakfast turkish style and delicous, rooms were worth the little money you paid for it, but hostel definitely needs renovation. Right next to Taksim sq. in a very lively neighborhood, where you can party all night but need ear-plugs to sleep. Over all ok.
A very nice place very close to train/busstation and just a short walk to the city centre. The staff is very nice, gives information for whatever you need or like. Finally a hostel that understands, that even in a dorm it's nice to have a few nice colours or a bedside lamp rather than neon uplights. The rooms including linen and towles are very clean and comfy. I stayed in other places in Skopje before, but next time being there it will definitely be Shanti-Hostel again.
The location is in the old part of the town, very close to everything. Rooms are newly renovated, very nice, spacious and comfortable (double private). The staff is nice and has information about the town and everything, but that doesn't mean they are around all the time (actually at some time there hasen't been anyone at all, which was weird to me).
Hostel Miran ist a very nice place with ecxellent and very warm staff, that provides all kind of information about Mostar, the region and more. Though we didn't have the time to take part in one of the offered excursion by the owner, we still want to come back soon and explore the surrounding area
Very comfortable place in the heart of the city center. The staff is very competent and helps you with any questions or needs you might have. Thanks for the nice time we spend in your hostel!
