wifi connectivity other than lounge was poor. there could be more bathrooms. sadly, the taps have separate cold and hot faucets. a bunk bed in the centre of the room made the layout really weird and "open" super comfortable linen! it's an old building so you will continuously be hearing the plumbing. security is good! lockers at the base of the bunk are great. would be great if there was a water dispenser.

excellent location, just beneath the castle. security in rooms were great, even had "safes" in lockers. but the little orange card for entering the hostel isn't such a great idea because the staff easily let people in. free coffee, tea, hot chocolate. huge lounges! 8 bed female dorm was very spacious. having to pay for breakfast (1 roll, 1 bowl of cereal and 1 cup of juice) isn't so great, although it's only 1.5 pounds. bathrooms clean but sadly, separate hot and cold water faucets.

location not so ideal. but if you're willing to try the buses, it is superb. a short bus ride to kilburn where there's supermarkets, food outlets and phone shops. great security. loved the design of privacy curtains, reading lamp and power plug for each bunk bed. bathrooms very clean and well maintained although the basement one for showering was a little too dim. the ensuite bathrooms in the mixed dorm on the top floor was claustrophobic but still very clean. very comfortable beds!
