International Budget Hostel

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Fairly central location right next to a canal and within walking distance of most attractions, although at night it can be a touch noisy thanks to the party boats cruising by. The lockers are badly in need of basic maintenance. The bunk beds were a bit rickety but adequate. Smoke from the smokers room drifted up into the dorms which was not at all pleasant. The common area was also quite barren. The hostel was clean, with sanitary soaps provided in the bathrooms/toilets.

A well laidout hostel, with plenty of facilities but not kitchen. Although the fees for using the luggage storage was high, infact its the only time I have had to pay to store my luggage. Also the bar and meals were expensive. The beds were good, the lockers needed lubicating, were a bit loud. Location is poor, the neighbour its in is not the best, plus its a long metro ride from anywhere interesting. Its seems safe enough during the day but would not so great after dark.

Hello dear guest, We do understand your concern about the price of the lockers storage and meals but you have to keep in mind we're among the cheapest in paris. For instance, storage are a lot more expensive in train station, airport where it is a one time rental.Good meals are starting between 12 and 13euros when on our menu this is our most expensive meal price. On your next stay you will have the pleasure to be able to sleep in our new hostel in Gare du Nord which is closer to the sights.

The bunks were terrible and noisy. The bathroom was small but sufficient The downstairs bar was nice, withgood prices during.happy hour. Free computers to use but they were a bit buggy at times. Location was nice, pleasant atmosphere in the neighbourhood. But its a long metro ride into the city.

Great kitchen, good common rooms. Only a few minutes from train station and cathedral. Earplugs were expensive, so bring them with you.

Seven Hostel

Sorrento, Italy

Nice modern clean hostel, not very close to anything but not to faraway either. Its a short walk from the nearest train station. Also a few minutes down to a local beach. Bar also played music late into the night which was a bit annoying.

Was very busy while I was there. A well laidout hostel.

Hue Backpackers Hostel

Hue, Vietnam

Good hostel, easy to meet people, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Only downside is that they turned off the AC during the day and it was quite hot at times.

Sunflower Hotel Hoi An

Hoi An, Vietnam

It was a fun place to spend a few days, the pool was a good place to recover after a long night. The breakfast was amazing.

HQ Cafe

Nha Trang, Vietnam

Great little hostel located a few streets from the beach, quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. Comfy bed and good AC. The staff were excellent. There was a bit of traffic/construction noise in the dorm but not enough to bother me.

Long Hostel

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Excellent dorm rooms, very comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Was also off the main road so was nice and quiet, can not remember any traffic noise during the night. Only real negative is that the bathroom is like a sauna due to lack of ventilation, but overall it was a excellent place to stay.
