This hostel is in need of a proper cleaning and renovation. There were thick layers of dust under the bed and you could see mold on bathroom walls. Also, the bunk beds made a lot of noise if the sleeper would turn over and actually the whole bed would move. The curtains for beds were ripped and were falling down. Both the staff and hoste guests were noisy almost the whole night. This place is good if you want cheap place to sleep and you sleep well though somebody is yelling beside you...

Hotel Chuo Selene

Osaka, Japan

It was very clean. A big minus is no reading lamps or security lockers in dormitory. Staff was great! I slept in because of jet lag and was late for check-out about an hour. I thought I should pay extra, but staff told me I don't have to. That was nice. Also free coffee in the lobby and computers that actually worked quite well.

Not clean at all. No wonder there has been bedbugs; the place was dirty! Already when I entered to the reception/bar it smelled kind of awfull; of dirty old man, tobacco and old beer that has fallen to the floor and no-one hasn't cleaned it. Under the beds there were very thick layers of dust and some trash. Also the staff was actually one girl who seemed to be very stressed and was forgetting things at least regarding me. I had to ask for a pillow and "free drink ticket".

+ very clean + good location + cheap + staff could speak english - no soap in toilets, yuck! - expensive cafe downstairs - safety deposit VERY SMALL
