Vinni at the front desk was absolutely amazing. When we checked in our room smelled a little too much of cleaning products so Vinni moved us into another room. He was also more than happy to give us suggestions on the nightlife, shopping, and dining. I'm afraid Berlin wouldn't have been the same without his help. The hostel itself is not a great place to meet other travelers if that's what's you're hoping for and one load of laundry is 10 euros but you are super close to a metro which is

Good wifi, poor breakfast, great deals at the bar (open till 2am), good ac in the room and spacious storage under the bed. One block from Los Rambla and near all tube lines. The push shower isn't as bad as it sounds. If you remember to keep pushing it, it will never shut off. Bring a hair dryer for you ladies cause there is only one in the bathroom and it's worse than a hand dryer in the bathroom.

Breakfast was average and plenty if you wake up early enough. Sketchy small elevators and very small showers. I did have a private room so not sure how the rest of the bathrooms where. No Internet in room only in lobby and not very fast. Overall an average stay with a good location near metro and train station

The staff was amazing. Alex pulled out a city map and circled all the places we should visit and they where all great recommendations. The breakfast was simple with cereal, toast, etc, but that's all I ever eat for breakfast so I was happy. The location is perfect. Short walk across the bridge to Westminster Abbey (big Ben and London eye) also a bus stop right in front of hostel that runs 24/7 and a tube right down the street. No ac but its fine with the windows open.
