(1) Best way to the hostel is take tram number 7 and Stop in 'Morgental', then walk to the hill around 15min. (OR you can take bus no.33 and walk 2 min to the hostel). (2) Big breakfast, nice clean but quite expensive, WIFI only for lobby, NO KITCHEN which pretty disappoint given that Zurich is an expensive place to eat. If they provides microwave will be must better. (3) 1-day transportation card could takes boat, bus, tram and S-Bahn, value to buy! Ask their staff about free bicycle service.
(1) Only 2 toilets & 4 toilets with shower room (NO HOT WATER) for all male & female guest. (2)Slightly ruined by the many grumpy locals living permanently there, a man always naked with towel walked around the hostel. (3) No locket in the hostel. (4) Bare in your mind because hostel located in 3rd floor of 200 years old historical building. (5) Every morning you must see the basin was full of dirty/used eating utensils.(6) Wifi supply was very poor! Some reception not very helpful and not nice.
I took 35 mins from Victoria Coach Station by walk or you can take 10 min from Pimlico Station in zone 1. It is quite difficult to take you trolley up to 3rd floor with no narrow staircase and no elevator. Or you could put your trolley in luggage storage which is free. Please pay 1 pound for WIFI per day in bar area but not room. Breakfast Included in bar area, Tea/Coffee Making Facilities which only for staff, also you will not get tea/ coffee because they always busy, early check time is 15:40
I stayed here more than a week and definitely I will recommend this hostel. I love this female hostel because everything so clean with good smell, very safe and feel great. All staff are female except the repair man. Super cozy, quiet and comfortable environment. Nice place to live with value for money, good wifi, with free computer. Except the location is out of the city which located in Amsterdam Arena Station, you need to pay euro 2.40 from city center. Just 15 min train from Airport.
