Airport transfer service is NOT free. They charge 20.000, but standar price for a taxi is 12000-15000, so wouldn't recommend arranging it through the hostel. The place is like a flat, with only 1bathroom. Owners or staff aren't there most of the time. The place is very clean and also quiet, didn't meet a single guest in my 14 bours there. Only 5min drive from the airport, so very handy when you have several hours between connecting flights.
The hostel has moved from 3 doors up the street, I guess that's why everything was inly half done. They were painting, fixing pipes, etc while I was there. Place has potential, but there's a lot to be done still. Atmosphere was good, different outside areas to chill out and meet people. Bar doesn't open until 6pm
Good location, very friendly staff and awesome rooftop terrace. Everything was good, maybe an improvenment to be made would be to have more toilets.
Breakfast is very good, includes bread, butter and jam, eggs, juice, cereals and tea or coffee. they serve as you get there, so culd be waiting for a while if the hostel is busy. Wifi sometimes does ot work that well and best signal is at reception, none in rooms or common areas a t the back. Lots of places so sit around and talk to people.
pretty friendly with enough space to hang out or make friends, kitchen sucked but is close to many cheap local places and touristy restaurants so we never had to use it! the disorganised free breakfast was ok, also had option to add extras for little money the problem came after we enjoyed our prebooked 4 days so much that we decided to stay longer, same bed went up 3sol for not booking online & very unfriendly and unaccommodating, even after we asked to save our beds only double rooms were left
Very friendly place, great location, nice rooms and cute little outside area. About the showers, there's hot water ONLY at certain times of the day, so not great if you're just spending a night on your way to or from machu picchu or passing through town (don't even try on sundays!). Having three cute little kitten around made up for it thou.
Awesome place! Ivan, jon and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of us was on crutches and they did their best to accomodate us in a room that wasn't too high up the building. The rooftop terrace was really nice and breakfast is served from 4am, great for an early start before heading up to machu picchu, would have stayed longer if I didn't have tocatch the train back. Thanks guys!
Nice clean and quiet place. You may want to email them to confirm the booking before you get there. They didn't know about ours, but put us in a nicer room for the first night. Nice staff
Awesome place, great atmosphere. Would definitely go back! Thanks guys!
Great location and awesome atmosphere! Would definitely stay at Barranco backpackers inn again. Thanks guys :)
We arrived at 2 am and a member of the staff was waiting for us with a big smile. Really nice and clean place. Lots of activities to do during the day as well. Would definitely go back! :)

The double room was quite plain and lacking of furniture, besides the bed. Feel quite expensive for what it was.
