Hostal Wasi Masi

After 6 months of travelling this is by far the best hostal I have stayed in. The rooms are very modern, clean and have individual reading lights. The Hostal has a roof terrace which is perfect for hot sunny days, offers breakfast, it also offers cheap Almuerzos for the same price you can get them on the street and they are decent. It has a small kitchen for your own personal use, a tv room with plenty of dvd's and the book exchange is enormous. Finally the staff are really friendly and helpful.

The rooms are big and spacious, but the narrow corridors and lack of open space anywhere else in the Hostel makes it feel very claustrophobic. The breakfast area is very cramped and your climbing over people to get to things. We stayed one night and moved on.

Books Hostel

This is by far my favorite hostel, after travelling for 4 months I was recommended Books and it didn't disappoint. I actually returned for 3 more nights. The hostel has a great atmosphere, very social areas where you can relax or have a few drinks at the bar. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is second to none, with cereals, bread, cheese, ham and fresh fruit. The staff are very helpful and informative, half of them being fellow travelers. I would highly recommend.

Great Hostel with really friendly and helpful staff. Has a nice patio area, TV area and breakfast room. Breakfast is everything you could want and more. The free wine in the evenings is just an added bonus to a great hostel.
