Excellent hostel, I've stayed in hundreds around the world and as long as your not a spoilt narcissist then you should enjoy your stay here. (it's bunk beds) Also the air conditioning is a bit loud but that's America for you.

Location in the middle of the red light district. People coming and going at all hours. Hostel was not so bad but location meant loud noise from the street and bad smells outside.

Top notch hostel and staff, the only gripe I had was the cave/box style bunks it made me a bit claustrophobic, not all bunks are like that though. Also some annoying Americans who wouldn't stop talking but that's pretty normal.

Decent enough, hostel staff where more bar staff than hostel staff, just microwave and kettle in small couch room upstairs, good breakfast.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I had become lower class, but i guess this is the state of London, the street has council flats on it and the beds are triple stacked so you cant sit up. The long term guests where nice except for the polish, they tell me this is the best hostel in London, no oven in kitchen only microwave, showers are all broken so you have to hold the nozzle. 30min walk to closest tube station or 2 bus's to town. Lounge is the pub. For 1-3 nights spend more elsewhere.

There is not much this hostel can actively do to improve, the location is a bit far out, the price should include tax, there should be a common area as the kitchen closes at 11, hire some young enthusiastic receptionists, get some better pans for the kitchen, fix the electrical sockets, mosquito screens on the window, quite the fans, install better lights, next time I'll pay a bit more for something better. I did not mind the stay to much but the girls hated the experience.
