Casona Potosi Hostal, Potosi, Bolivia

This hostel seemed the best/cheapest out of three we were able to book online. Room was clean with comfortable beds, but both nights were very cold, we were offered extra blanket. The hostel is quite big with two patios and ground and first floors. Wifi signal only reaches as far as outside reception (skype use prohibited) Showers/toilets seemed in need of cleaning each time we wanted to use them. Good location just a block away from main square and 5 BS taxi ride from bus station.

We really appreciated staying at Piedra Blanca after 3 day Salar de Uyuni tour. The staff is very kind and friendly, room was clean and comfortable (would benefit from adding some hangers) and we could enjoy hot shower. Hostel has excellent location right in the main plaza, 5 min walk from where buses depart from. Great pizza places right next door. Standard/modest breakfast with coffee, bread, butter & jam. Would happily stay there again!

We returned to this hostel, as my husband stayed there few years ago and had a good experience. Clean, comfy beds, very friendly, helpful, laidback staff, nice breakfast and good kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal. The only thing was not very clean bathroom, otherwise very plesant experience. Would return anyway and Bariloche is certainly worth it. Next time would love to try the asado, we missed it this time!

We booked 2 beds in 4 bed dorm but had it all to ourselves, which was nice. Clean beds but not very comfortable. On arrival reception staff introduced us to the rule of kitchen closing at 23:00 and night silence at midnight. Turned out group of noisy travellers was using kitchen and chatting away till almost 1am (with our dorm being just above it). The hostel is quite central with taxi ride away from the bus station (17-18 ARS). We didn't have a chance to try breakfast-early AM departure.
