Loved it! The staff are friendly, the cleaners do an AMAZING job, and the location is great. The breakfast churros are a nice touch.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at! The owner, Will, is super friendly and tries to remember every guest's name (which is impressive because the hostel is quite busy). The 3 euro dinner is delicious and great value, and free pancakes for breakfast is a nice touch. The cleaners do a great job of keeping everything nice. The common area has a nice atmosphere. I would definitely come back here!

Nice hostel with a nice atmosphere. The dorm room I was in had a door doesn't lock automatically when the door shuts, which means a lot of the time it's unlocked (I never had to actually use my key to get in the room).

Very quiet in february - I had a dorm room to myself and nobody ever seemed to be in the common areas. The Wi-Fi signal didn't reach my room, which was a little annoying. But all in all it was a great place to stay- very clean, good location, and with a free breakfast! TIP: If you stay here be sure to check out the roof terrace for a fantastic view of the city!!

Great location: I was here during the Festival of the Three Kings and the parade went right past the window!! The girls who work here are lovely. The hostel itself is very dirty, especially the kitchen, and the common area is quite small. People are almost always smoking weed in there as well. Tip: if you're a girl, book into the female only dorm. I was glad I had, as when I stayed there were quite a few older men staying there.

Friendly staff and a good location. Loved the food! If you're arriving late, make sure you confirm a few days before to remind them: when I arrived and went to Julie guesthouse for the key, the nightguard hadn't been given it! I had to spend the night in Julie Guesthouse instead which was no problem, but I would have been in trouble if it was full! The staff were very apologetic the next morning. Despite this mishap, I enjoyed my stay at Diva and would definitely come back.

Good location. For those thinking of sleeping on the terrace: your five euros gets you floorspace and two blankets... one to lie on (makeshift bed) and one for the cold.

The owner is great! He's very friendly and goes out of his way to help you. Thank you so much for your hospitality! There is also a pool, which is nice. However, the hostel is around 6km from the downtown area. There are frequent buses, just something to keep in mind.

A few nice touches (the free drive from the bus station, welcome drink) and the view from the balcony was great. All in all, not great though. The room got hot at night and there was no air conditioning or fan. When asking for help with directions I found them to be quite abrupt, and I felt like an inconvenience that was intruding in their family home. Such as when I was eating in the kitchen and the o came in, turned off the light and then left again, all the while muttering in Croatian.

Bad hostel. Dingy - there's hardly any light in the dorm room. Grotty- the bathrooms aren't clean. Unreliable reception- he seems to only be there if expecting someone to check in. Smoky - when the owner/manager is there, he sits in the common room on his laptop and smokes nonstop. Location isn't great either.

Location not great, but near a bus station which was good. The common area was way to small, and 'reception'was a table in the lounge. Not a great atmosphere. Staff weren't particularly helpful, except for one guy who advised me to book online (I showed up without a reservation) otherwise the hostel would charge extra.
