Kimchee Hongdae Guesthouse

Seoul, South Korea

Lovely hostel. The thing I liked the most was the nice helpful staff. The hostel was clean, bathrooms was done every day. It has a nice atmosphere, it's cheap and is not that far away from Hongdae.

Itaewon Hostel

Seoul, South Korea

Very cheap when I booked it, helpful staff, good location with quite near to Itaewon station. Alot of electric outlets and good wifi connection. Negative is that because of boken locks there there was only one toilet and shower room you could use without having to worry that someone would walking in. And renovation was taking place so there was sawdust all over the floors and sometimes a bit noisy.

Elephant Backpacker Sydney

Sydney, Australia

Really liked the hostel, cheap (payed 45 AUD for 3 nights), great location. Friendly staff. The Cafe was frequently visited and appriciated. =) Good atmosphere at the hostel and a spacious kitchen. Negative, There are some bugs, (mostly in the kitchen) and the toilets get flooded now and then. facilities are old and run down. First nights there was not enough blankets so you were a bit cold and there was trouble with the internet on a couple occassions.

BB's Working Backpackers

Sydney, Australia

I slept amazingly good in the bed. Not the cleanest hostel and a bit run down. There was not much place to keep your stuff and cold everywhere. The girl who checked me in was really nice. There is no wi-fi except in the livingroom and the garage and the constant FIFA game playing quickly became sort of a annoyance. Location is what made me change to another hostel in the end, but if I would have been staying for long I would maybe have stayed there longer because of the cheap price.

Central 65 Hostel

Singapore, Singapore

Really liked my one night stay at this hostel. Some might dislike the cubicle kind of style on the beds, but I personaly love it. Good storing spaces. The location is good, walking distance to Bugis station. Nice breakfast and facilities. The personal was helpful and available during their working hours. Negative, the floors in the bathroom/shower room becomes completely flooded as soon as anyone takes a shower.

Royal Hostel Singapore

Singapore, Singapore

Located in the middle of Chinatown with very close distance to the Chinatown station. I was lucky who got a bed far away from the windows so I did not experience any disturbing noices. Personal is friendly. Breakfast is quite minimal, toasted bread, butter, marmelade, and some coconut-ish spread. Loved that there was snacks and coffee/tea always available. Personally i did not get that good of a feel for the atmosphere, it was a bit too cramped.

The InnCrowd Backpackers Hostel 2

Singapore, Singapore

Good location, some minuts walk to Bungis station. I was in luck when i arrived so i was able to go on one of the free kick-scooter tours around Singapore (one of the best tours I've been on, lots of exercise and we watched two light shows.) One of the negatives is that there is no lamp or power outlet by the beds and that the blankets are way to small and thin. The breakfast is nice. All in all, had a good stay and the kick-scooter tour make up for most of the hostels flaws.

Born Free Hostel

Bangkok, Thailand

Real nice hostel with a friendly atmosphere and 2 cute cats. Great atmopshere and helpful staff. The hostel is located quite near the Kaoh san road and within walking distance of most of the real famous temples. The commonroom area/entrence is a real nice place to meet people. Negative, the toilets is not that practical beacuse the floor is always wet when there is no seperate showering stalls.

Kool Backpacker Hostel

Phuket, Thailand

Great location in the middle of Patong road, minuts from the beach and the biggest bar/club just across the street. The commonroom is cozy and there is a bar near the reception. The hostel is cheap but look out for the staff if you have not booked online, I've a guy seen tell guests different prices ranging between 250 - 300 baht /night. This hostel is not for those who are looking to relax but more for those who wants to party. The wifi was really slow or did not work alot of the time.

S1 Hostel Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand

Had a nice stay at the hostel. The staff is friendly and helpful.. The room are spacious enough and you have your own locker where you can store stuff. One of the bad things is that there is a lot of staircases and no elevator and Another that the commonroom/lobby is not airconditioned so you end up spending most of your time in your room.

Indy House

Busan, South Korea

Really nice hostel to stay at. Great location within Close Walking distance to the beach and the cleanliness = impeccable. The staff almost seemed to be cleaning non-stop. The commonroom/rooftop area is real comfortable. It does not get that homely Close- family-friend- kinda vibe, but it leaves a more professional impression. It's still easy to get to know people though´, if you choose a shared dorm.

I had planned to only spend 2 weeks in South korea but because of the friendly staff (JT and Anthony) and the great atmosphere I ended up staying a month. The facilities are really nice, and I slept well during my whole stay. The location is one of the best. just some minuts walk to the centre of Hongdae and a convinence store is just around the corner. I Have a lot of Amazing memories and stories from my stay. Strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good time with lots of partying
