The good: very close to the Euston station, easy to find. Shops, restaurants etc all on the doorstep. Staff are very friendly. Buffet breakfast. Don't need to take the sheets to reception at checkout :-). The bad: The girls' door a bit cramped - and no lockers (!!) which was a shocker, and no individual lights or powersockets. No nice 'extras' like giving you a free towel. All in all, a good hostel - but glad I only stayed the one night!
This is a great little hostel. Right by the British museum with everything on your doorstep in central London. The staff are super-friendly and seem to genuinely want to help and make sure you are looked after. Stayed in a mixed dorm, which was really spacious. The only downsides were the small kitchen, and the fact there is no lift! So might be tricky if you have a lot of luggage. This is one of several hostels I have stayed in in London, and my favourite so far.
Very well maintained hostel with a new feel. Really centrally located in Ponta Negra. Staff so helpful! Good breakfast at the communical table. What not to love?
Awesome atmosphere. Met some really great people and perfect spot to hang out on the hammock and talk to travellers around the world. Breakfast is great with pancakes and tapioca options. Even had a great barbecue for the hostel ´family´ which was brilliant. Only a short walk to the beach. Definiely recommend for the sense of community and fun!
Met some awesome people at this hotel. Breakfast on the beach is the best! 9 bed room was definiely a mistake, it looks like a cell. Paid extra to upgrade to 6 bed female, which was way better. Close to the centre and all that jazz. Tip: don´t book your tours here, as they are way more expensive than the ones organised by agencies in town! But in general, good hostel, friendly staff and no complaints.
Big party-focused hostel. Very busy, tons of people. feels impersonal. Everything ´functions´ but if you like to chill and hang, and meet people in more calmer circles this is not for you. Lots of noise, clubs organised every night - but this is done in other hostels, too. It´s Miami! If drink and all that good stuff is your idea of fun, hit MBIH. If not, there are awesome options available around.
Lovely decoration and setting and excellent location. Staff very friendly. The outside are always seems deserted, which is a bit of a disappointment. No group activities. Not a good place to socialize, but very good nonetheless.
Very clean place run by a nice couple - Russian lady and her Spanish husband who speaks only a little English. Spacious, very close to the beach, big kitchen and warm hospitality. Husband likes to watch TV and sleep in what is the living room, which can be odd at times. otherwise, a great place.
