Stayed in a double room for 3 nights. Location is GREAT - walking distance to everything. Bathroom wasn't ensuite but spacious and clean. Security was great. Mini-market at reception had small selection with great prices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Biggest issue was NO LIFT. Carrying bags wasn't pleasant. The kitchen was VERY small, but well-equipped. WiFi was hit or miss, but generally worked. Common room computer was nice to have. Overall, we'd stay again due to the great location.
Stayed for 3 nights, the first in a 6-bed room and next two in a private twin. We were quite pleased with how spacious it all was. Showers were hot and clean. In-room WiFi was spotty. On-site restaurant was fairly priced with large portions. Facilities are unbeatable and the front desk staff was always helpful and knowledgable. Farther from attractions, but a step off the S-Bahn station. Wish breakfast wasn't 6Euro pp/pd, but it was good. Coffee machine in the lobby was a plus! Would stay again!
Spent 3 nights in a 10-bed dorm. Liked that the Hostel is new. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn't working for 1 night. We weren't aware that the bar underneath the Hostel isn't JUST for the hostel-this made for a loud weekend. The bar music was LOUD until 3am and were right above it. I felt that was a bit inconsiderate. Breakfast was alright. Construction workers were rude and loud. Shoreditch is great for party animals, but far from London sights. WiFi was pretty bad. No common area. Overall:Ok.
Stayed at Isaac's for 3 nights in a 6-bed dorm. Liked the different spaces in the hostel for reading, watching TV, or lounging. Didn't like that the lockers were pay-per-day and NOT in the rooms, but they were secure. Staff was helpful and we liked that you could book trips or buses at reception. WiFi was not in-room but worked fine elsewhere. Breakfast was slimmed-down, but included. Extra showers in the basement were nice for crowded mornings. Close to many attractions. Will stay again!
