This hostel is run by a couple who could only speak Spanish, it seems they are willing to offer help but sometimes don't want to communicate with me as I don't know Spanish. No info about tour are given. Besides, the kitchen is very old and worn--maybe the photos on this site are taken 10 years ago??

weak wifi, damaged kitchenware, very basic bed & room, staff are pro at service, as well as playing--esp. at about 10pm every night some of them stay in the dinning room to play and make unbearable noise besides, the booking system from hostelworld.com is suck, I booked 2beds for 8nights but don't like the room at basement, a staff checked and rearranged me in 2rooms (4nights+4nights), but further he said such changes meant I cancelled the booking and need to pay the higher price as walk-in!

Everything is fine, except that on the morning I left (16 Sept), I found that a staff came and changed the milk in the fridge with an expired one (labeled said expire on 14 Sept). Probably they reuse the milk bottle...?

The twins room is extreme basic: only one double-deck bed, no table, no chairs. Kitchen is a ruin: cupboard, kettle, pan, fridge, chairs, sofa, light bulbs, all are damaged. The most interesting is that there are only 5 chairs in the flat, all are in the kitchen, but only 2 of them are in good condition. If you want a bed for only one night and no need to use the kitchen, it's perfect; but if you want some good time in a hostel, better spend your money in a wiser way.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Each room is slightly different but private rooms generally consist of beds and wardrobe/draws. The kitchen has tables, chairs and sofas. There is not space in the rooms for this. I must disagree that everything is damaged as the kitchens are fully functioning and have all facilities you need. We have recently bought some new kitchen equipment and hope to get new tables and chairs in the future. The fridges, kettles, ovens, etc are all in working order.

Nice environment, clean and warm, the host seems cool but actually very friendly. Should note that breakfast is INCLUDED (for free) and it's fantastic!

The staff (i.e. the family who run this house) are very nice, however the facilities of the double room are very basic. The balcony over the street is great, but the street is quite noisy as the shops open until 2am. Water for bathing and flushing ran out around 11pm, and had to take shower in another shower room, very inconvenient.
