Lub d Bangkok Siam Square

Bangkok, Thailand
74%

I usually stay at Lub'd Silom cause Keith works there and he is the best hostel host in all of Thailand.!!This time however i had to stay at Siam as i booked late and there was no room at Silom. The hostel itself is great, and if you want to shop it is in the perfect location right next to MBK and other Malls, but there was no backpacker atmosphere AT ALL,and the staff were unhelpful and unengaged with the guests which was a massive disappointment.I only stayed 1 night and then went to Silom Lub'd

Lub'd is in a class of its own. I have stayed here a number of times now and have never had more fun anywhere else. The staff (especially Keith...!!!) are helpful and friendly, the facilities are clean and comfortable and it is in a perfect spot that lets you escape or embrace the hectic city which is Bangkok. I have recommended this place to many friends and everyone has nothing but nice things to say. Do yourself a favour and stay here...you won't be dissapointed...!!!

Hi, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our venue - it really helps us to improve on what we do. We were very glad to hear that you enjoyed the friendly and efficient service of our staff and that you appreciated our affordable prices and great value in a very expensive Paris market. If you do have any ideas of what we could do to make things even better specifically on the atmosphere side, we would love to know. Best regards, St-Christopher's Team Paris.

Hostel Freedom Marrakech

Hostel Freedom is an excellent place to stay when visiting Marrakech. It has everything you need.....friendly staff, great atmosphere for meeting people and a nice free breakfast to start each day. Its only a short walk to the main square and souks, as well as other attractions/places of interest in Marrakech. I stayed here a couple of times during my time in Morocco and would not stay anywhere else.

Riad So Cheap So Chic

Marrakech, Morocco

We had a great stay at So Cheap So Chic. The hostels common areas are huge, and the rooms were very well presented with their own bathrooms. The staff were friendly and the location was great. It was so nice to come back after a hot day exploring Marrakech and have this place to relax in....not really a place for lone travelers as the rooms cater for small groups and couples, but if you fit into either of these categories i wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Kif-Kif was a good value hostel. The place is nice and the staff friendly. Beds were a little hard, but for the price we really couldn't complain too much. Only a short walk to the main square which is handy.

We had a nice stay here...the breakfast each morning was great and the location was also very good. Its was very quiet so i wouldn't suggest if you were traveling by yourself, but if you are a couple or small group this is an excellent place to stay.

Dar Bargach is an awesome place to stay in Tangier. After a long day exploring the city and medina it was so nice to have a place like Dar Bargach to come back to each evening. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming (Mohammed was so nice) and really make you feel at home. Breakfast is simple but very nice and the mint tea was great. Thanks for a great stay.

The Melting Pot is a great place to stay if you plan to visit Tarifa. I only stayed one night on my way to Morocco, but found this hostel to be very good. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and they were there to assist with any questions i had (they also booked my ferry ticket for me to cross over to Morocco). The rooftop is a great for hanging out and making new friends, and the beach is an easy 5min walk down the road. Its also very easy to find from the bus station.

Red nest was a fun place to stay....The Pub-Crawls were awesome and the rooms comfortable. Only issue was the cleaners were super noisy when they came in/out of the room, and one of the days they had a massive argument in the room while there were around 5-6 people trying to sleep. Other than that it was good....the Paella is awesome too..!!

Excellent hostel with awesome staff.Very close to metro station and not far from beach via metro.Had a great stay here and made some really good friends.2 issues i had were: No aircon made the whole place super hot and very hard to sleep (they're currently installing aircon in the hostel which was noisy).I wouldn't stay again until it is connected as it was very uncomfortable, but it will be great when done.It costs 8 euros to do washing, which is totally ridiculous.Other than that its perfect.

Its a short ride or walk into town for groceries and the beach is only a little further down the road. Its in a nice quiet spot beside the golf course and has a really relaxed vibe. I would definitely go back again...The only downside was that i had to leave.

This is the best home away from home u will find. The staff are among the friendliest i have come across and made my stay an absolute pleasure. The hostel was super clean, WIFI was the best i have had in a hostel, ant the breakfast and dinner (yes thats right dinner is also included) were awesome. Only downside was that it is a little far from Paris city centre, but the metro station is only an easy 5-10min walk away. I would stay again n a heartbeat. Thank you Namdemun for an amazing stay.

Excellent budget hostel close to tube and bike hire..was more like a hotel. Only major downside was the massive amount of kids running around the place being noisy, messy and just a general nuisance.! Seriously there were easily in excess of 100 school kids at the hostel at any one time, and at times it felt like they were taking over the place.!! I would suggest maybe making an area down in the common area just for the kids to hang out, as there were times i couldn't even get a seat at the bar.

Palmers Lodge is an excellent place to stay. The building itself is very well presented and the location is right next to Swiss Cottage tube, making it easy to get around London. The restaurant serves delicious food and the bar is also handy. Bathrooms are clean as are the rooms and common areas. The only downside i can think of is that if you are staying in the larger dorms it can get quite noisy with people coming in/out, making it near impossible to sleep during the day. Otherwise all good.

Lybeer Travellers' Hostel

I had a great time staying at Lybeer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is a very short walk to the town centre. There are renovations going on atm, but don't let that put u off. All the rooms available to stay in are very clean and exceptionally well presented (the privates are as good as some very nice hotels i've stayed at). The pod beds were great as well. And the bathrooms clean. If you're going to Brugges this is the place to stay.
