Sleep Well Youth Hostel

The hostel had no facilities to prepare food or even make a coffee. It is important for travelers to be able to prepare food, a simple sink, microwave and electric kettle would make all the difference. They certainly have the room for it. There wasn't even a glass in the room. The staff on arrival we disintersted and unhelpful. The walking tour was fabulous, thanks Yass.

Enjoyed the stay, thankfully the staff helped with bags because the stairs, particularly the spiral are very difficult to manage. We had a private room however the rooms very small and no tea and coffee facility except 4 floors below. Would be nice to have kettle in room. There are limited bathrooms (2) which is a problem.

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Badger and for taking the time to write a review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay! We have a total of 10 bathrooms (a ratio of 4 per bathroom), but apologies for only pointing out the bathrooms closest to your room. The free tea, coffee, milk and all food are stored in the kitchen to prevent unwelcome visitors in the rooms. Safe onward travels from all of us here :)

We loved the hostel and the staff were great. We did the walking tour with Inga and couldn't hear anything. She has some great things to share and need to pick her locations better and raise her voice.

Muffin Hostel

The hostel had good facilities plenty to do and a lovely outdoor area. The wi fi however was non existent and made it hard to book for travelling from Salzburg. Luckily for me one of the staff members allowed me to use her computer so all worked out, others not so lucky. The hostel is located more remotely than most, about a 15 minute walk to the old town. There is not much around the location of the hostel in way of bars or restaurants. Breakfast was a waste of €5.40. Nothing much to eat,

Hostel was great and the activities each day a great way to meet other travellers. Christian was fantastic and his night walking tour great. We had 28 people on the tour and by the end he knew everyone's name. He was o e of the best tour guides we have met. Well done Christian. On the other hand there was Petra who worked on the desk, she was abrupt and curt. Petra needs some customer service skills. Overall the hostel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to others.
