The hostel was good, but not my favorite. The staff was super helpful with everything. The hostel is right near the old town which was nice and easy for walking but on the weekend the bar across the street was loud, also there were some weird pipe clanging sounds. We were in a 2 person room which was HUGE and had a personal shower in the room which was awesome, but the beds weren't the most comfortable and a top sheet wasn't provided. Overall, it was a fine experience, just not the world's best.

It was so wonderful! Free shuttle to and from the bus station was so key (just email them a bit before) and they give you little butter and jam sandwiches in your room when you arrive! All of the staff there are so nice and helpful, the young couple's English is really good. Even more important than the accommodations though is the opportunity to take a 10 Euro walking tour run by the hostel- the tour guide lived through the war in Mostar and gives a wonderful tour

Tchaikovsky Hostel

Totally recommended for any young groups staying in split! The staff at the hostel were absolutely amazing- they spent so much time recommending places to eat and places to go on day trips, even printing out ferry and bus schedules! The hostel was spotless, towels (beach and shower!) provided on request, individual lockers per person, little communal deck area. Bathrooms are shared (separated by gender) and the showers are a little weird, but if you're a student its basically like a nice dorm.
