I've got no idea how this is number 1 on hostelworld! It was cold! Windows left wide open. The breakfast is RUBBISH - a bit of bread and some jam. The staff weren't that helpful and didn't offer any ideas or suggestions on what to do in Lima. The bathroom wasn't clean and 2 of my 3 showers were lukewarm. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

The place was nice, friendly staff. Has a plug, and light next to each bed, which is great. Location a quick walk to everyone apart from the bus/ train station which is a good 20 mins. Atmosphere is relaxed, if looking for a party hostel look elsewhere. Tours available organised through the hostel which is convenient.

Great place to meet people. Friendly staff. Unavailability of kitchen in Tuesday frustrating for such a long time. Lack of power plugs in rooms. Bar drink prices too high given you can't bing your own

Overall it was a good hostel. Very chilled, staff are friendly, great kitchen. Only criticism it did accept large groups of bucks party which does kill the atmosphere a bit in the weekend. There's not much to do around the town apart from the beach. Can hire a bike and The Hague is not too far, but good for a break and to do nothing.

No real atmosphere, seemed better suited to school camps. But clean, quite & staff friendly. Very few options in Gent as far as cheap accommodation.

It seems one of few options in Gent. It appeared to act more like a school camp place than a hostel. No real atmosphere. The price is high compared to other hostels in say a town like Brugge, as they are the only ones. Rooms was clean.
