Not what we were expecting... Throughout the hostel it smells like fecies due to plumbing problems. The staff knew nothing of what is advertised on their hostel world profile, like the free sangria hour, movie night and other daily activities. Whilst very friendly some of the staff seemed disinterested. We were ment to stay for 4 nights but stayed only two and went to another hostel. Its a great location and the rooftop is awesome, it just sucks there is no real effort going towards this hostel.
Pretty decent hostel overall, the tree house and hammocks are an awesome idea, and the vibe from the hostel reflects the culture you feel in the city of Grenada. The showers were too warm and can't be changed in temp, but they were clean. The only real thing that bugged me was the "no outside alcohol policy" which wasnt stated on their hostel world profile prior to booking. Other than that it was a great hostel, nice staff and a hard to beat location.
Awesome hostel! I thought it was going to be like other chain hostels, but sant jordi Mano tango is probably one of the most intimate accommodations my girlfriend and I have stayed in. The staff are all very friendly, nice and go out of their way to make you laugh and help you the best way they can. They go from staff to friends within 10 minutes. Would be good if breakfast was included, but there's a kitchen and a very cheap market across the road. So it's all good. Great job guys!
Really need to sort out the toilet issue. Bore water from toilet head sprayed over when shower was on. Therefore showering in Bore water. Location was good. Close enough to sites, train station and the metro. Was ok. Not good enough for the price they ask.
Good for what you pay. Had mix ups with the morning staff, got put into a wrong room and had to go back and sort it out, which took a while Due to the language barrier. Also had an argument with them about paying for breakfast when it clearly states on hostelworld that it is included in the rate! I didn't pay and either should you. It was clean and close to the ruins, but be wary of getting ripped off
Good camping experience, locks on the tents didn't provide much security ( could open them enough to slide in). Location was ok, bus stop to Venice right out the front of the camping ground. There are a lot of bugs flying around so bring repellent! Staff were really helpful and nice. And the pizzeria boys just as helpful and friendly. If you want a cheap stay in Venice it's overall worth it.
All in all good. The staff were friendly and helpful, Although sometimes were unorganized. Wifi always dropped out went through at least 20 tickets. Stayed there 6 nights and only had hot water one night, but got free bar tokens to compensate. Popular place for contiki tours to stay, so it effects the atmosphere, as well as big school groups. I'd recommend, but be aware it is a chain hostel.
Pretty good hostel, the location is great because of the center location, but it is incredibly loud due to the night club/bar underneath. The rooms we're pretty basic. Friendly, helpful staff
Clean hostel central location, but that's about it 700+ beds, so its very hard to meet people They won't allow you to bring in your own alcohol, so you have to pay bar prices at their bar The staff need to work on their attitude towards guests. Wouldn't reccomend staying here unless you're in a big group down to party for the weekend.
Clean hostel, friendly staff, pretty far away from central The hostel it self has no real atmosphere, we walked in common room and everybody Looked bored out of they're brains. Not a good vibe Wouldn't stay again.
I would recommend this hostel to anyone, Very clean, great vibe, very friendly and helpful staff. Its located In a great part of the city, very cultural.
Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, (Andre was awesome!). Very basic, standard hostel, no lockers, moldy walls and ceilings in our 10 bed dorm ( health concern). I think with better cleaning procedures and working on the facilities, this hostel would stand out a lot more.
