Hip little hostel in Kowloon, great location to check out the city and close to lots of restaurants. Staff were helpful suggesting what to do and best transport to airport. Security was great, both entry into the building/hostel and also locker space for luggage. Bathrooms are also nice and convenient. Only issue is the lounge area is located very close to the dorms so it can noisy if people are staying up drinking and talking. But thats understandable given space is such a premium in Hong Kong.
Good hostel with great bar and restaurant. I stayed in a private room to rest up in between train trips and my stay was very comfortable, im sure the dorm rooms would be nice as well. The bathrooms are a little small and strange - the shower is an open area with a drain in the bathroom floor, which means the floor and toilet is always wet, but still manageable. Tour to the terracotta warriors was well worth it. Would definitely recommend Hang Tang Inn.
Really cool hostel tucked away from the hustle of Beijing, feels like youre staying in an old style chinese house/temple but with all the mod-cons. Great location if youre looking to stay near the forbidden city, jing shan park, hutongs, or drum tower/bell tower. Staff gave me one of the best city introductions in terms of transport and attractions. Beds and bathrooms are comfortable, restaurant has good & cheap eats and drinks. Only suggestion would be they should provide soap in the bathrooms.
