The beds were clean but the rest of the hostel needed a good scrubbing. Also, the first day as we were leaving we pulled the bedroom door shut and the handle came off in our hand. We weren't able to lock our room the rest of the time. The staff was never around unless you called them for something, and then they responded fairly quickly. It was quiet and fairly close to the underground station but it seems like there'd probably be better value for the money elsewhere.
This hostel had traditional Moroccan charm but also plenty of modern conviences. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was good. It was just a short walk from the new Tramway station. Also, it was located right on the edge of the medina which was a great area to walk around. We were definitely stay at this hostel again.
This was a great hostel! The staff bent over backwards to help with anything we needed. The hostel has a wall around it and you have to get buzzed in the gate but we never had to wait to get in. The rooms were very clean with a bathroom in the room. It's only a block from the metro station and there are good restaurants and grocery stores in the area. We would definitely stay here again when in Rome.
