Great single room, very clean hostel. Room size EXTREMELY small, but good for a few nights stay otherwise a bit claustrophobic. Such a good location though, walking distance to everything, and the free walking tour they recommend is fantastic. Do not stay here if you're solo travelling and want to make friends though, the atmosphere is QUIET and DEAD. Good for some peace and quiet, or if you're travelling with a partner.

Beware! The squeeky outdated metal bunk beds are horrible!! I have never seen worse beds than this. They squeak and shake the whole bed frame if you turn around, even with ear plugs I was being woken up by the sounds and the person moving above me! Bad ventilation in the rooms too, could hardly stomach the smell, especially in the mornings. Lots of people from Busabout and contiki passing through.

Don't worry, we're working on replacing those darn squeaky beds. Instead of just buying more metal ones from a big company though we're supporting the local economy by partnering with a craftsman to replace them with sturdy wooden frames, so this takes a bit more time. Sorry you got stuck with smelly roommates but just open a window next time!!

Only issue is that there are no lockers in the rooms, your bags are left under your bed and there's nowhere to store your valuables unless its at reception. It doesn't feel as safe so luckily I invested in a bike lock and attached the lock to the bed post to avoid someone running off with my bags. Great hostel otherwise!!! Amazing staff and great facilities!
