Pedlar's Inn Hostel

Galle, Sri Lanka

Wonderful, helpful staff, beautiful rooms, and lovely atmosphere. Being in the off season, it was quiet, but the vibe is chilled and relaxed and that was great, I'd love to come back in the peak season and would recommend this hostel to any one visiting Halle. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller too! Big thumbs up.

Lullaby Hip Hostel Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain
100%

I've never given a rating of 100% to a hostel but Hip Hostel definitely deserves it. The whole place is clean and tidy while avoiding becoming too clinical- there are cute and quirky decorations and artworks around that make it feel very homely. There is a great balance between chilling and partying here- make friends with Pablo and he will take you out on the town or even on a skating tour of Barca. Highly recommend this hostel, I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Great atmosphere and musical vibe, awesome rooftop area and common area on the ground floor. Loved the spacious bathrooms! Big enough to avoid feeling cramped yet maintains an intimate and personal atmosphere. Loved Atlantic, I would definitely stay again!

Mavi Guesthouse

Istanbul, Turkey
89%

For a single traveller Mavi was perfect for meeting people (I stayed in the 20bed dorm and made a lot of friends there) and for getting great travel advice and help from Ali. He helped me book last minute flights and helped me plan a trip to Cappadocia. Great pub crawl and great atmosphere all round!

Grandio Party Hostel

Budapest, Hungary
83%

Grandio has set my expectations high! The staff are hugely welcoming, laid back, and honest about what to expect at Grandio ie. people will be getting drunk and might make a bit of noise etc. The large courtyard bar area made it extremely easy to meet and get to know other guests, as did the organised nights out. My only complaint would be that the showers were a little cramped and could do with a few extra hooks for clothes/towels etc. But it's a hostel so you get what you paid for :)
