Don't stay anywhere else in Naples! This is the best hostel and Giovanni is such a lovely man. He is very passionate about Napoli. Great cook and very considerate. The walls are covered in thank you notes which is so sweet
Brand new hostel. I was there on it's third night of being open. I feel it will just get better and better with time as the staff learn how to do everything. The hostel itself is more like a hotel with extremely nice décor. The wifi was surprisingly slow considering there were only 2 guests in total!
Excellent hostel. I wouldn't stay anyway else in the Como region. Very clean with fantastic staff! One of the best hostels of my trip for sure
I didn't particularly enjoy my stay here. Found the receptionist a bit unfriendly and the hostel itself very old and basic
Hostel is halfway between the airport and the tower which was a good location. Very close to the train station too. The staff were kind and drove me to the station on my day of checkout since it was pouring with rain!
Loved this hostel! Best one I have stayed in within Barcelona. Will def be staying here again next time
Great hostel and great staff. Very small but ends up being very cozy
An alright hostel. The showers are amazing I have to say. And laundry is really cheap to do here (only €2.50!). The beds are comfy. It's not a very soundproof building though so if the other guests are being noisy or clomping up and down the stairs, you do hear it in your room. The manager also kept asking me for my name and forgetting it? (she asked about 3 times). Location is great right to the cathedral, and a tasty cheap place for breakfast right opposite the hostel
Excellent hostel! It ticked all the boxes in the right place. My only complaint would be that I didn't enjoy the hostel cod dinner that much. I think it was too salty? But would happily stay again for sure. Loved how the swipe cards were bracelets for a change
My most favourite hostel ever. I love how the rooms are painted in themes and neat little touches like sockets inside the room lockers so your valuables can charge and be safe at the same time. There was even a chef making pancakes at breakfast time! Yum! The breakfast juices and jams were quite special with flavours like peach, tuttifruti, strawberry.. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Still a very new hostel so it hasn't got all of the cozy little touches yet like funky artwork on the walls or even a couch. The staff are still a little rusty with their english but all of this will improve with time. I had a great sleep as the beds are super comfy with being brand new so the pillows and duvets are still really puffy and great. I would stay again happily
An excellent hostel. I especially loved the free sangria in the evenings and the garden. I feel the rooftop terrace should be developed a little more with sun-loungers and more plants (to make the hostel even more amazing) as it was quite sparse compared to the downstairs garden. There were even processions going right past the hostel which was so cool. It is quite nosiy overnight, or maybe it was just my roommates. I didn't sleep well the whole week I was there but oh well. Would stay again!
Best hostel in Lagos! It is a little bit groungy and small but the atmosphere is amazing. I've never felt so comfortable and at home in a hostel. The staff are mainly volunteers who all loved it so much there that they stayed on as WWOFers (that alone should tell you enough about the hostel awesomeness) and are super friendly and great at going out drinking and for meals with guests. Don't stay anywhere else
I really loved it here. The beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Better than my own bed back home even. I would happily stay here again
One of my top hostels ever for sure. Don't stay anywhere else! It is painted in bright red colours with the multiple common areas overflowing with decorations and cozy couches. There's free shisha and mint tea, and even a tortoise running around on the roof terrace. The atmosphere was fantasically chatty and friendly with awesome sociable staff. The only negative I had was that the showers ran out of hot water very quickly so I essentially had cold showers for my three nights there.
It was very nice and Moroccan but I don’t think I would stay there again. I was upgraded to a private room the first night, then switched to a diff hostel in the morning with no warning when I checked in. It did have a scammy undertone with not only the hostel switching thing, but the activities you could do through the hostel were all mildly overpriced. The Dar Zohor hostel had it’s own restaurant but the prices were actually much higher compared to other restaurants out in the medina
Best feature is the rooftop terrace with sun loungers. Amazing! But I found the atmosphere a little weird the night I stayed there. Wasn't quite friendly or cozy enough for my liking
I really liked it here and would happily stay again. The rooftop terrace is mazing esp on a sunny day, and the staff are lovely. The music playing in the lounge was the only thing I didn't like. It was a CD on repeat so got sick of hearing it pretty quickly
Great location with being right next to the beach but a bit of a distance from the centre. The rooms didn't have locks so didn't feel terribly secure while I was sleeping as my roommates were constantly wandering in and out all night. From what I heard it's still the best out of the Malaga hostels though
Loved this hostel. Don't stay anywhere else in Stockholm! Beautifully designed with free pasta, a sauna and iceskates. What more could you ever want?
Pretty cool hostel overall. I got a free drink as a couple of my roommates were ill (I was out partying that night so didn't notice anyway). I didn't like the bathroom design as post anyone having a shower, the whole floor would be covered in yucky water and dirty footprints
Was a pretty cool hostel. Can see why it's one of Europe's top ones. I liked the smoking room and downstairs bar
It was an alright hostel. I liked the cup of tea on arrival and cheerful colours that the whole hostel is painted in. However wasn't so keen on the extra linen charge and that the top bunk beds didn't have side rails. I was afraid I'd fall out in my sleep!
It was an alright hostel. I visited in winter though so maybe that why there were mainly only long-termers staying there
Cheapest hostel in London! Would happily stay here again as the staff were great and I loved the cosiness of the rooms with privacy curtains, bedlight and plug sockets on every bed. Location in zone 3 outer London is the only downer
It is a bit of a party hostel but great atmosphere and friendly staff. Location isn't very central and the showers are push-button ones (gasp!). Loved how each bed had privacy curtains and a huge cage to store your luggage in
Very cute wee hostel with neat decoartions everywhere but the location isn't very central (although that can said of all Paris hostels really!) and the wifi was terrible
Mixed feelings about this place. The location is truly amazing and great value for money. But the kitchen facilities aren't so great and the atmosphere was just okay. It was an alright stay but I'm not sure if I would stay again or look for somewhere that feels wamer/friendlier. I more stayed here just for La Tomatina
Best hostel ever! Atmosphere is amazing with activities every night, super friendly staff that hang out in the lounge with you, and free churro with choc dipping sauce for breakfast (best hangover cure ever). My dorm room even had a/c. First time ever that I've had that in a hostel!! I am happy to recommend this hostel to everybody
I really love this hostel. It has a coffee machine that makes the yummiest coffees. Staff are great and breakfast is really decent. Location is fab and just overall feels like a fancy new hostel with cheap prices, an elevator, a/c, balconies, great shower water pressure, pub crawls every night etc. Felt very pampered staying here
I had a good stay here. I think the only negative for me was that it had a weird atmosphere. Maybe because the building was so huge and felt deserted at times? Dunno. I was doing my own cooking in the guest kitchen a few times and was completely alone. Nobody else came in for the times I was there. It was so weird and a little lonely. But otherwise it was clean and tidy. Bit of a walk from the town centre but not too bad
I really enjoyed my stay here and would def stay again next time I pass through Fort William. The atmosphere is very cozy and friendly, the staff are fantastic. Even gave me a lift to the supermarket! So nice. The other great thing is that you can stay in the hostel during the day (a lot of hostels kick you out to get their cleaning done) which was great as the weather was rainy and not a huge amount of things to do in F.William other than Ben Nevis
This hostel is possibly one of the best I have ever stayed at however some key things: It is very isolated (with beautiful views) and is the kind of place where its better to have a rental car as the public bus only goes past 3x a day, there is no cellphone reception, and no internet at all. But because of this the atmosphere is amazing as people have to talk to each other and play board games as nothing else to do. Kitchen is best I have ever seen and the glass dome in photos is so cozy .
I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. The only negatives I can think of is that the room door needed grease in the hinges as it squeaked so loud overnight with people coming in and out of the room. I also had trouble getting the showers to work properly on the 2nd floor (would only do ice cold or boiling hot) but the 1st showers were fine weirdly. Good atmosphere and great kitchen facilities
A very bright and cheerful hostel. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. The staff were very friendly and I liked the brightly coloured painted walls. The only negative I can think of is that it would have been good if staff cleaned the kitchen more often as the floor was covered in water a lot of the time and as there were no tea-towels, the dish-racks filled quickly to overflowing with dishes. Being in the centre of town it was noisy overnight with all the pubs so close by.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing right next to Edinburgh Castle. The décor is really neat with a castle theme and suits of armour on the stairs. The only slight negative is that I thought the toilets could have been cleaned more often as there always seemed to be boy pee on the floor in front of the loo! Would happily stay again on my next visit
There is a reason the ratings and reviews are pretty terrible for this hostel.. I personally only stayed here as all the other Brighton Hostels were booked out. The bad - triple bunks, unclean dorm room that smelled like a combo of feet and fish, staff that don't seem to care or know a lot, really basic budget breakfast with undrinkable coffee, very few powerpoints. The good - excellent bus service so very easy to get from hostel into centre within 10 minutes.. and not a lot else.. hm..
Very friendly family-run hostel. There are activities/free food most nights., plenty of power-points in rooms, very clean and well-kept, was more like a gourmet hostel. Location wasn't the greatest but only a 10min walk into the town, and 20min to the main train station. The biggest highlight for me was that the reception man carried my heavy backpack up the stairs for me! I would happily stay again
This place was an okay hostel. Kinda a bit grubbier-looking than what I prefer and not hugely well-kept. It's also super close to the Waterloo station train tracks which are quite noisy all night long. No noise from the bar could be heard from the room as a positive. The staff are really friendly and the bar downstairs promoted a good atmosphere with discounted drinks. I doubt that I would stay again as there are lots of nicer London hostels out there.
This was honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The hostel is family-run and super friendly. Free food is on offer most nights or at a really bargain price. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are the nicest that I had ever seen in a backpacker hostel and kept super clean and tidy. Price and location is great. I really look forward to staying again next time I visit Cardiff :)
Reasonably average hostel. The atmosphere was great and I met some awesome other travellers there. However on the downside the hostel itself seems a bit groungy with age. The bathroom facilities could be nicer. I would happily stay again though as the price was very good and the location amazing.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The friendliness and atmosphere was great. However security was a little too relaxed for my liking and the cleanliness in some rooms (the other lounge) was a bit too messy. I would happily stay again as the price for the dorms is too good to pass up.
Love this hostel!! Best one in Australia and seriously the best one I have ever stayed in
I really loved staying here at this hostel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxed. I would have happily stayed longer as I really enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend staying here.
