This is an amazing hostel that feels more like a hotel. Loved my stay here and the staff couldn't have been more helpful with info and tips on where to go and what to eat. The only tiny downside is the wifi doesn't really work in the courtyard, which is a shame as its a great place to chill out, but that's me being really picky...everything else was perfect..stay here when you're in Mendoza!

Think we we're put in the older of the hostels as facilities were pretty basic but nothing horrendous. Was only passing through for 1 night but it served its purpose.

Staff appalling on arrival especially after they'd reserved different room type to booking made thru hostelworld..grudgingly have booked room after making fuss that was more expensive than I'd paid despite the booking confirmation showing the details. Hostel is a way from town but not enough to put you off plus food on site is good so you don't need to really care. Good vibe when stayed there from all the guests and would stay here again if better staff!

And we still training the staff .

The hostel itself is a beautiful building set on the forest, it is a way out of town as they say making it a fair walk if you want food. The kitchen is private so you can't use it, just borrow plates etc if you've bought food but not cook. They say they offer food but this has to be pre-ordered by midday that day so be warned if your turn up late you'll be going hungry! There was no welcome at all when arrived just shown to room and then ignored all night as we're too busy chatting to friends

The walk from our hostel to main street (where you find a bunch of restaurants) is 10 minutes downhill, but even if you don´t feel like walking this distance you´re always welcome to ask the staff to call a taxi for you. Another new option is a pizzeria in town that delivers food to our place without extra charge. We are always available for our guests and willing to help with whatever information they need, we just don´t like to be obtrusive.

Good hostel to base yourself in for seeing quito..not far to walk from old town so close to the history. Sandra is doing a great job since taking over the hostel and slowly improving the place..she's a fountain of knowledge and great for a chat over a beer! Lack of breakfast is a slight downer but plenty of places nearby to fill up pretty cheap.. Definitely love to come back when more hss been improved and I'd totally stay here again now if was back in quito

Hostel is a good place to stop over on way to/from if you need to break journey. It is in random part of town with not much nearby except shopping centre. Taxis unlikely to know where it is so be prepared to drive around for a while! Otherwise nothing wrong and I'd stay there again for a night to break up journeys

Great place to base yourself for a few days in Miraflores..good location as close enough to all the action but 5 mins away to make it quieter at night. Was pretty quiet when stayed there so wasn't really an atmosphere and none of the activities mentioned in the listing were forthcoming! Some staff great but others couldn't care less even when pushed! Would stay here again as immaculately clean with great showers and to see if any better when more people staying

Great hostel to stay in arrequipa. Spotlessly clean and staff were all fantastic to try and help out with any questions. Tour booking on site was great as made it easy to plan. Pancake breakfast was great change and certainly filled you up! Only downside was not great for meeting people, could have been that hostel was quiet or maybe that's just how it rolls there! And one other prob was they ran out of beer on a sat night! Def recommend staying here tho as one of the best hostels so far!

It's a pretty basic hostel that serves its purpose as a stop over doing tours in rurrenabaque. Staff we're shocking in that they hid from guests and have no info at all on anything. Overall it's cheap and kinda cheerful and is prob best place in town to use as a 1 night stop at either end of a tour

Hostel in Salta

It is a nice enough hostel but was let down by indifferent staff who gave no info or made you feel welcome. The set up is good with lots of outdoor communal space..if your staying in summer! It was freezing cold and very little warm/covered space to sit without hiding in your room. I'd a little walk from the main town but didn't feel unsafe at all..wouldn't mind hoing back when Warmer to see if it deserves a better score!

Very unfriendly hostel with staff not even caring about guests..no info offered about the town and even when pushed they just threw a map across the desk. Rooms were clean on the centre bit of the floor but anything not visible from the door was covered in thick layer of dust. Bar played loins music until 3 am even tho no one was there! Only stayed 1 night but was 1 night too many!

Great location in Palermo and good to explore the city..staff are ok but not much info available about where to go..no maps given out to explain the city and only way to find out I'd to push the staff to explain..breakfast is very poor..dry bread, dulce de leche and 1 mandarin per person! Otherwise a great place to stay in town and use as your base to explore. Newer hostel that's still learning but soo spotless and warmest showers of our trip! Sure it'll improve with age!

Hi Neil, your from England? Really? It was a beautiful, sunny 25 during the day and 16 at night or hotter during your stay. I believe thats a good day in summer there. I checked google to find the temp. during those days in Florianopolis as i was traveling. Our staff is rated #1 in Brazil...no pushing ever needed. I will not even comment on where you thought your smell was originating from in your room. Think positive my friend, as everyone else during that time had fun, fun, fun!Take care, JIM

well, I work with my family (2 of them and an employee); we share areas and facilities like everybody else, but of course the clients have priority for all. We cook for everybody, we play games with everybody, we take care the house, and we are there to suggest trips or places to go.Is part of our policy to make it familiar but we don´t stay like a close group, never. Pain that you were looking for mute people ready to serve you, we are not.
