We stayed in a double room, which was comfy and clean, the facilities were fine and the staff friendly. The only issue we had was that we wanted to leave our bags in the hostel in the morning before we checked in, but there was no staff around to be able to do so (reception opens at 11am). If you're in the same situation, go to the tourist information office on the main street and they'll be able to point out lockers in the ground floor of the shopping centre across the street.

Friendly hostel situated close to the port (so great if you are travelling to the other islands). The staff were all fantastic and made every effort to make sure that we were able to have a great holiday. We ended up staying here at short notice due to a typhoon and were made to feel very welcome. The highlight of the hostel is their common room which is covered in tatami mats and is great for chilling out or meeting other residents.

Great place to stay, especially for the security and location. We stayed in a private room (bunk beds) which had aircon and no issues. Felt very safe for female travellers especially

Really lovely place to stay. We were made very welcome by all the staff and the dorms were some of the best we had stayed in. The location in Asakusa was also fantastic. Highly recommended
