PLUS Florence

Florence, Italy

This place was great. The view from the roof bar was magnificent. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a little pricey but it was our first warm breakfast in over a month, so it was worth it.

Youthhostel Luzern

Lucerne, Switzerland

There were a couple of martial arts teams in town for a competition who were a bit rowdy, and the fee for not being a youth hostel member was dumb. Other than that, the place was nice. There could be a couple more showers. Also a lot of small kids.

It was good, nothing fancy. Of course we watched the Sound of Music. Food at the bars pretty good.

Wombats City Hostel Munich

Munich, Germany

This hostel was great! Very friendly people everywhere. It's right next to the train station, so like a 5 minute walk. The WomBar was ok, it gets really loud and it's just filled with a bunch of American sorority and frat people. Our room was beautiful and we had our room deck with table and chairs to sit on. I'd definitely go back to this place. Oh and if you're interested in going on a tour, DEFINITELY go on the free walking tour with Ozzie! He's great! AND he does a beer/schnapps tour!

Stuttgart, Germany

We've been to some great hostels during our trip, this was not one of them. There's only like 2 hostels in Stuttgart to begin with. We chose this one because (I think) it was cheaper. It's located right next to a sex shop and it's surrounded by 2 churches that ring their bells about every 10 minutes and randomly in between. The reception closes at 11:30, so if you have a rowdy bunch of neighbors at 4 am, there's nothing you can really do about it. The bathroom smelled really good though!

Flying Pig Uptown

Amsterdam, Netherlands

This hostel was awesome. It's right next to the big park in Amsterdam and close to stuff like the Van Gogh Museum. The staff was extra awesome and willing to help us in any way they could including recommending their favorite places to go. Go to Cannabis College in the Red Light District, they know their stuff.

This place was awesome! We weren't expecting anything too nice when we arrived, but man it was like a little paradise retreat. We almost didn't want to leave and explore the town, but Nice was great too. We definitely plan on returning to this hostel someday.
