This was a really good hostel in a really good location. Very close to a metro line, you should be able to get around easily but you might just end up spending a ton of time in Montmartre since the area is amazing. Its essentially the area of Paris that best resembles what people imagine Paris to look like.

Liked: Good free breakfast, amazing cafe and restaurant downstairs, really helpful staff, great atmosphere Disliked: Shotty wifi in the rooms, slightly cramped & dirty bathrooms and showers in the dorms I did like this hostel. It was good all around. I did however kind of get the feeling that it was a cafe & restaurant first as those facilities that were shared were amazing while the actual dorms were just ehh.

The hostel was located within the city walls of Bruges but in the city center for sure. You definitely have to start with a decent sized walk before getting to all the tourist location. In terms of staff, we only ever got to ask the same guy for help and he was kind of eh. For example we asked "Do you have laundry?" and he just said "Yes". Other than that the hostel was good all around. Its a party hostel so if you cant deal with noise coming from bars and pubs this might not be for you

TO be honest Cologne was kind of a throwaway place for me. I remember this hostel being good all around except since its a hostel and hotel some of the facilities looked like they were an older adult trying to dress up as a cool young kid. Kind of funny. Seriously though, would recommend.

Berlin, Germany

Backpackerberlin was a pleasant surprise. I gotta say I wasnt impressed at first. We walked over in the dark and thought it was a kind of sketchy area, you had to pay for wifi (1eu for 24 hours), and the hostel is fairly dim. However this might have been one of the places that the staff just really sold me on. They were so helpful and made excellent recommendations (3 really cheap and really good fallafel places nearby) and would join us for drinks near the end of the night. Well done team

Sir Toby's Hostel

Prague, Czech Republic

Brick and mortar building with a basement lounge with low couches, dim lights, and cheap beers. Laid back hippie feel to this place, makes it very comfortable to use. Location isn't the best but the tram system is very, very good. I don't recall waiting for a tram for more than six or seven minutes. Staff was awesome. Not too much available in terms of racito

Euro Youth Hostel

Munich, Germany

This was our first stay in a hostel and thought it was pretty cool. Knowing what I know now about hostels I find that this hostel still held up as a pretty good one actually. 10 minute or so walk into the city center. Staff seemed really cool. Bar nights were quite fun. The room was quite nice. Really close to the train station so you can check in and out so easily. Yeah quite nice overall!
