I highly recommend this hostel. Fantastic breakfast, modern facilities in a nice old building, close to bus/train station and cardiff city centre and friendly staff who care about making your stay enjoyable. During my stay they also offered a £1 pasta night and a free apple pie and Icecream night for guests. The only negative would be I had an uncomfortable mattress. I would definitely return.

We booked this hostel on it comments, though we had an enjoyable stay the hostel was not without its faults. We stayed in a double room with a window looking straight at the kitchen so it did not feel very private and at night the light would shine through the shear curtain making it hard to sleep. We also found that the two bathrooms were not enogh as they were frequently occupied.

Everything was very good though it was quite a distance from town (30 minute walk).

We had a good stay at this hostel, very peaceful and relaxing. The only down side was the hostel itself is dated and could do with some rejuevenating. The location was great for seeing the causeway coast but we did have a car.

We stayed in a private double at Vagabonds it was a really good hostel only negative was the noise at night (the walls were paper thin). The hostel has a no noise policy after 11:30pm but it was difficult to sleep with a lot of slamming doors and people running up and down the adjacent stairwell throught the night.

We booked a double room in the hostel but when we arrived we were moved to their B&B around the corner. We still had full use of the kitchen (which was well equiped) and other facilities at the hostel. Overall we were made to feel very welcomed and would defintely stay again.
