This place is HUGE, which gives it a bit of a factory feel. No real atmosphere or specific chill out areas, just one noisy bar and lots of drunk kids (fine if thats what you are after). No kitchen facilties and not enough bathrooms for everyone. We just stayed one night and then went to Adventure Brew - cheaper, better breakfast (pancakes) and slightly more chilled.

Great place to chill with its huge sunny garden. Centre is easily accessed by taxi or bus and there is a supermarket 20 minutes walk from the hostel, you can also get dinner for 30bs in house every night. There is also a huge kitchen and laptop for guest use.

Booked a twin room with ensuite, got just the twin. Tiny kitchen, only enough room for one person at a time. The location is good and the property beautiful but atmosphere is missing. We moved to Kultur Cafe Berlin after 2 nights which was 100% better.

No atmosphere and lack of social space to get to know others, still a decent hostel but nothing compared to the Koala Den round the corner which we moved to almost straight away. I would recommend staying there!

No wifi, but hot showers and a heater in the dorm overnight which were both welcome after the freezing cold salt flats tour! Beds also had lots of blankets with more available upon request and there were lockers outside of the dorm. A little hard to find as you have to go through a courtyard to get to the hostel. Does the job for a night-

More like staying with friends than in a hostel, Karen and Jose really open up their home to you and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you with any queries. Not in the cerros but Valpo is small enough to walk around easily so location is not a problem. Just one word of warning, there is no heating (this is common in Valpo´s houses) and it gets very cold this time of year, so you have to wrap up warm inside!

great option if you are on a budget in Santiago, location is fantastic and rooms a good size - especially if you are on the first floor. Good size kitchen and social space, everything you want in a hostel!

Fantastic staff, including the owner who is always around to help with queries. Spacious dorms and breakfast until 12. Also, dont expect peace and quiet, dorms are close to where people socialise, so make sure you bring your ear plugs or at least a sense of humour!

Fantastic staff, eggs at breakfast, great value for money! Only problem is the kitchen is small.

Modern feel, great social space and kitchen. Excellent value for money if you take teh ten bed dorm. One of the computers wasn't working when we stayed, leaving only one to share between all guests, luckily it wasn't too busy in the hostel at the time.
