You can get a much better place then this for the same price in the same area. We stayed one night and cancelled the rest of our stay. It was very hot and there was plastic covering above our window which meant there was no air in the room at all so we were unable to sleep. Terrible showers, the water does not go down the drain well so the shower overflowed. Tiny towels, which is even worse when there is no room to get dry and dressed in the shower cubicle

The owner here is amazing, so welcoming and helpful. Made us feel more like we were staying at a friends house, not at a hostel. Made us breakfast in the morning which was always more then we could eat, scrambled eggs, lots of toast, baked beans, juice, coffee/tea and more. The shower/toilets were always kept clean. Close to metro. Shops, cafes and Internet/printing store, laundry all close. Wifi works really well all through rooms and is free.

Nice clean and quiet b&b. not in the centre but very close to a water bus stop and a 10 minute walk into the centre, which is a lovely walk- what venice is about. The guy gave us good information at check in, but maybe make sure you get all the info you want as the other staff we seen only spoke limited English. Coffee/tea made for you in morning with basic Italian biscuits/cakes for breakfast. It may seem a bit on the expensive side for a b&b but in relation to the rest of venice it is not.

It's out of the centre and not really near anything such as cafes/shops but the bus stops right at the front of hotel every 20minutes, and takes 15 minutes and drops you at train station near centre. Free wifi in rooms, and free use of computer/Internet/printer in the lobby. Good variety for breakfast. The lobby sells bus tickets for cheaper then buying on the bus. Has a ping pong table and outdoor patio area to relax in the sunshine

Oscar is so helpful and very welcoming. It is a lovely place to relax and get a good sleep as it is out out the centre. It is about a 15 minute walk into the centre, which we did a couple of times a day with no problem, even felt safe to walk at night. There is a cafe (right next door), self service laundry and a supermarket very close by. Has a lift- so no carting your luggage up stairs! Would return for sure!

The lady on reception/working in the restaurant was friendly and welcoming, kept our luggage for us, although not in a locked room. They gave us a map and pointed us in the direction of the centre, about 10 minute walk away. The accomodation is actually 2 blocks from reception, only about 1-2 minute walk. Downfall is you pay for wifi but you have to go and sit in the restaurant to use it, and this also shuts from 3-5pm. We paid for air con but it wasn't working so maybe check this on booking.

Please don't let the look of the street worry you, it is a lovely hotel inside. The neighbourhood probably isn't the best but we were just careful, didnt walk around with any valuables as we were warned about pickpockets- same as many tourist areas. Close to main train station, 5-10 minute walk. Breakfast was good, staff really take care of you, making you tea/coffee. has mini marts next door and a great pizzeria a couple of doors down, would return here for sure.

The shower/toilet is very small. The bath mat was very dirty. The room was so hot we could hardly sleep, no fan. Very noisy!! Lots of street noise so you can't even open the window to cool the room down. It states online that the towels were included which we were made to pay for and that there is 24 hour reception but no staff could be found when we ever needed assistance. Very hard to find, if it wasn't for our airport transfer driver we would not have found this place. Good wifi in rooms.

There is only half the facilities that this hostel says it has on the website. Breakfast was a lot less then what was said there would be, no actual bar or vending machine which it says it has? No noise control even though there is 24 hr reception staff, if u want any sleep don't stay here, there was a very loud group of people in the court yard right near our room until very early in the morning. They did let us leave our luggage after check out which was helpful

We appreciated that they allowed us to use their facilities before and after check in/out times, as our trains arrived very early in the morning and left late at night. Reception staff were helpful. Needs bigger towels! Needs blankets that fit the bed, we had either a double or queen bed (can't remember exactly) but the blanket was for a smaller sized bed, maybe a single bed, it's hard to share this blanket for 2 people, especially when it's cold and the heaters don't turn on

Staff are amazing here, so helpful and full of knowledge of where to go/what to do/easiest way to get there. Liked that we could watch movies in English :) we didn't have a train to catch until late at night but even though we had checked out they let us leave our luggage all day and have a shower just before we left. Good cheap local food VERY close
