As it is a hotel the rooms were very clean and had a nice bathroom, good wifi etc, however the room was limited to one or two keys, which I found to be pretty unhelpful. It meant expecting someone to always be around to get up and open the door, or leaving the door open or unlocked, not great options when there were no lockers. Fine as a hotel, doesn't function well as a hostel.

A really nice hostel with the best hosts, loved my stay there! They were friendly, and helpful when I needed to leave my gear there on the day I was leaving. The rooms were lovely and clean, the wifi worked well which is always important!

This is camping, so don't label it a hostel. Funny to see the counter-comments that PBH leave to make up for the complaints. With very poor english too. How about you take your inflated tent 'room' rates and improve the experience, hire staff that can fulfil the role in a professional, friendly way. Improve the wifi to standards that other camp sites all over the world seem to manage + charge far less! You are abusing the tourist trade there, when you could have a really awesome facility.

Booked a 4 person room, expected it to be 4 beds in a room, instead two separate rooms, one large and then my room, that was so tiny that it just fit two single beds and small gap down the end for my bag to stand, really uncomfortable to sleep in there with no AC no door + a random guy literally lying right beside me. Should not expect to pay the same as the large room with storage + AC!! Strange hostel. People running are nice enough but facilities really let it down. Pretty much no wifi.

Lovely place to stay, a bit tricky to find but central to the bus station and great eating venues. Host was fantastic, breakfast, wifi, room all very good. Could do with lockers for security, otherwise all very good.

A clean and spacious hostel room, plenty of room for everyones luggage, nice bathroom, and a little kitchenette stocked with tea and coffee. Wifi worked really well throughout the hostel and the breakfast was good, great place to stay in Athens!

A nice enough hostel. Facilities were good. Had to wait about 20-30 minutes to check in while there was an argument between staff about laundry bags. Quite unprofessional to do that in front of quite a few guests clearly waiting for help or to check in.

Images on the website aren't an accurate representation. A basic hostel run by people who don't want to work there. Couldn't connect to wifi in the common area, essential if you are travelling. If remote hostels in European countries manage to have it, seems not that difficult for a major city in the UK. Other facilities fairly poor. Does not match the quality of many many other hostels offered around the UK and Europe. Luggage room had no lock, anyone off the street could walk straight in.

An OK hostel, would expect more for the money. The breakfast, bunks and ensuite were fairly standard. The the northern quarter is quite a cool area, and not too far from the train station which was handy. The wifi would not connect on my laptop, no lockers in the room, no reading light, which would be helpful. Wifi is an essential now to any travels, so it is really disappointing that this hostel has not installed or paid for wifi that actually works.

The hostel was pretty standard, the facilities were OK. Wifi works well in the common areas. Mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on, you can feel the springs digging into you, which is completely unnecessary, spend some money and get some decent mattresses, its the least you could do to run a modern hostel. There were a few problems with drunk guys running around and trying to get into rooms, and hanging out in the hallways all through the night which was pretty frustrating.

A great hostel to stay in, nice rooms that were large and with excellent facilities. Wifi was pretty good for a hostel. Only downside was the proximity to the tourist features of the town, but easy enough to get to.

Lack of wifi became very frustrating. Does make a difference when trying to travel to other places and plan trips. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially organising Auschwitz tours.

The hostel was excellent, great service and facilities, and the wifi worked well in the room. Also fairly close to the station which was a bonus.

It was an OK hostel, I had only one night there but it was extremely hot, so we had to leave our window open, out our window was the party on the footpath with constant smoke and noise all night it made for a very unpleasant stay. Facilities were good in terms of bathrooms, in the room however very tiny, no room for luggage storage and limited power sockets, no reading light.

Loved the extras, pancakes and soup and chocolates, great stuff! Could do with another toilet, but other than that, really helpful.

A great place to stay, helpful staff, and a good location. Bit difficult to find down the crazy narrow streets, but otherwise it was a cool experience, thanks!

A great hostel, with a good kitchen, wifi, breakfast, nice room with a locker, helpful staff, everything you need. The hostel was tricky to find in a maze of small streets, but it is close to the main attractions.

Was not a good experience. Good to get a cheap hostel in Blois, but it is out of the centre in an area that I didn't feel very safe in (was yelled at a few times walking into town). Difficult to find and well out of the centre. There was no-one on reception in the weekend. No wifi, and the person on reception had no idea why, no buses on Sunday, and very few on other days, in an area that you need transport to view, that is unbelievable. This is a dorm for students, not tourists.

Overall OK-ish. Wouldn't stay there ever again. Rooms were ok, the cage for luggage was a good way to secure your belongings. A few things really really let it down. The bathroom was disgusting, the smell was awful for the entire time i was there, like rotten stuff in the drains. There was one shower between 12 that only had cold water the first time I used it. The wifi is very inconsistent, most of the time it didn't work, even in the reception. Would be so easy for them to fix these problems.

Good if you want an affordable place close to Cinque Terre, the location was very pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful, the shuttle to and from Rio each day was really handy. Basic but nice.

An awesome place to stay! The guy who runs this place was lovely, so friendly and wanted us to have a great stay. The breakfast is the best I have had, soooo much selection. The party was really fun, heaps of snacks. The dinner is also worth doing, a great experience.

A great place to stay, nice rooms, with lockers and key! wifi works great, breakfast is nice, and good value for money. Only thing that was disappointing was there was only one shower on the floor.

The hostel was really good, nice rooms, and a yummy breakfast, helpful staff. The wifi worked really well. The bathroom only had one shower for our huge dorm room of 10-12 people. The hostel was not very close to the centre, but it was nice to get out and walk around. Also no air conditioning, in 30 degrees, it would be a bonus.

A great place to stay in Rome, the staff were really friendly, they are located close to the train station, and there is breakfast in the morning! The only problem was there was one bathroom between two dorm rooms, other than that, great.

One of the friendliest hostels I have stayed at, the staff were awesome and met lots of cool people. The garden is such a nice change to the craziness outside. The only thing that lets this place down is the showers. Other than that a great stay!

If you want to save money it is ok. A few things were not great, there was construction going on in the next room when I stayed, would not have booked if I knew it was going to be the case. There were many broken things in the room, the door handle on the bathroom, the shower head the sink plug. The shower had no hot water for 90% of the time I stayed. The hostel is quite a long way from the city centre.

Location and security were not great, the reception should not be in a small cupboard part-way through the day, it just makes it seem really dodgy. The facilities were of a poor standard, the bathrooms were dirty and had no ventilation.

The staff were really welcoming, and explained everything really clearly. No crazy deposits for sheets, towels key etc. They accept debit cards, yay! Good facilities - kitchen and bathroom. Wifi everywhere was really helpful too.

Things that need improved: wifi access, 70% of the time it would not connect. Cash only, no cards accepted, this is a hassle when there are 10 euro deposits for each room key, locker key and towel - most hostels do not have these fees. Kitchen facilities. Staff had no idea what the Vienna card was, which was advertised in every tourist webpage/mag. When I arrived the hostel was full of school kids running around and screaming, throwing things up and down the hallway banging on the doors.

Really nice hostel, close enough to all of the good stuff, the only problem would be the bathroom facilities. Limited number for many guests.
