Lisboa Central Hostel

Lisbon, Portugal

We only were able to stay at this hostel for a night but it was wonderful! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and they organize different perks for guests such as free milkshakes, or a pancake breakfast. We will definitely go back. Also the location is perfect, you can walk everywhere from here!

This is a good place to stay if you're not wanting to spend a lot of time inside, and if you don't want to meet people. The rooms have air conditioning, but the place is a bit dark and there isn't any decorations or a very good place to sit in the common area. The staff is very hands-off and they weren't able to really communicate with us or give us directions, or even a good idea of what to do in Madrid. The location is good, but if you stay here you're on your own.

Casa de Billy is a great place to stay! The staff are very friendly, and give you unlimited filtered water and the breakfast included is nice. The place is the cleanest place we stayed at in 5 weeks in Europe! Billy is really friendly.

Casa Ortega

Marseille, France
100%

We loved Casa Ortega. There is a lovely big main area with tables and a computer, that is all decorated beautifully. The bedrooms are really awesome with air conditioning, wifi, and very nice decorations. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about Marseille. Breakfast was included, and the location is very close and easy to find from the train station!

This hostel is in a really good location, and the staff plans activities like pasta night, or free wine night. There is air conditioning and free wifi, and a little courtyard where you can sit and have drinks or cook your dinner in the nearby kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The Tent Village

Interlaken, Switzerland

The Tent Village was a really cool experience. The tents are really neat, with their own locks and electricity inside too. There is a bar that has cheap drinks, but it is only open until 10 pm. There is free wifi and free coffee, and a nice open park-like area between the tents. There is a bus stop nearby to take you into the town and to excursions. The staff was really friendly too, it was great to stay here!

Le Montclair Montmartre

Paris, France

This hostel is disgusting. We showed up & there were other peoples sheets on our bed and the staff wouldn't even get them, we had to bring them down. The wifi doesn't work so you have to pay for internet. If you ask a staff a question, they act like it's a big burden. The location is in a sketchy area and it's really far from anything nice in Paris. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything. There are no organized activities and the bathrooms were covered in pee and there wasn't even soap

I really enjoyed that breakfast was included, and set out, and there was no pressure to eat at a certain time. It was a very leisurely visit. The only thing that I wish we would have had is someone to ask more questions to about the area.
