Great location for city sights. The twin corner room was nice and good size, however one of my pillow cases when i turned it over had heaps of makeup marks and mascara on it- likely from the previous guest. This was a bit unsettling as made me wonder if the cleaners had cut corners elsewhere- were my sheets a new set?? Most of staff seemed nice except for one darker larger kiwi lady. Made us feel extremely unwelcome and like us staying there was a big inconvenience to her. STAY AT THE NUNNERY!

Silom isn't an ideal place to stay as a backpacker- there's nothing to do! It's far from anywhere. Stay at kohsan or rambuttri road!! Internet was terrible and only worked in the lobby. Staff were very friendly. The travel agent in the lobby was unhelpful and nonchalant too as soon as he realised he wasn't going to make any money from us. Double (couple) bunk bed room was overpriced for what you get, but it's clean, safe, and a good night stay. Great design but average location.

I LOVE this place. 2nd time stay here in 6 months. Great atmosphere/ facilities. The pool is stunning! Only negative was the bed should be more comfortable. Great value for money in the couple suit, and esp for the 4 bed (2x double) I stayed in last time. Cheap scooter hire 2min walk away. Internet was the best I had in SE Asia. Not in crazyness of full moon party, but cheap (100B) taxi ride (20min). well worth it for the facilities, location

LOVED this place! Absolute best place to stay in the kohsan road district (3min walk away) so great if u want to be out of the dirty craziness but close to the markets in the day. The hotel is clean, quiet, great pool, good food/ drinks nearby. PS- Beware of tuktuk drivers who try to take u to TAT "Travel authority Thailand"- there's no such thing! Or dodgy gem shops. Many scams by drivers to get free petrol. MBK shopping mall is 20min tuktuk away. Best! weekend markets are not far by rail.

Pros: close to transport, walking distance from Brunswick St which is a brilliant shopping, cafe and cute bar district. (GO TO BAXTERS LOT BAR!! THE BEST for cozy hang time :) free luggage storage during day. Cons: bit cold, very dark dorms, beds were very squeaky so dorms not always quiet. Felt no place to hang communally because in the "lounge" the TV was always on so had to be quiet. Very pokey hostel. Would I stay again? Yes- for proximity to Brunswick. But for city would try Space Hostel.
